Alice James joined Usborne in 2015, after several years of working in primary schools. She absolutely loves science, and over the years has lived with chimps, spent a month in the rainforest, studied Biology at Oxford University, and grown 200 carnivorous plants (not necessarily in that order). Whilst at Usborne Alice has worked on books on all kinds of science topics, from space to energy to the periodic table.

Great pictures! Loads of interesting facts! I learned so much, and will be returning to this book for reference! What a fun idea.

They mentioned some things that are theories, or even hypothesis, as if they were verified truth. It's alright to mention it, but I would have rathered they'd at least let us know when something hasn't been proven, instead of claiming it as a matter of fact. It felt like they slipped a bit into propaganda at times?

Ihan hyvä tietokirja, tavallinen. Pienikin voi ymmärtää, vaikka asiat on enemmänkin vanhempien asioita. Sini-ihmistietokirjat on parhaita, joten tämäkin on tietokirjojen aatelistoa :D
