With seasonal pictures to celebrate the arrival of Spring, this is an engaging book to share with babies and toddlers.
Another winning installment in the Bright Baby collection from international bestselling children's book author Roger Priddy. This book provides an excellent introduction to springtime concepts and seasonal fun.
There are chicks, bunnies, spring flowers and photographs of other familiar Spring things to look at, and the pages have different touch-and-feel textures, which little fingers will love to explore.
With clear photography, bright colors, and simple text labels, Bright Baby board books help babies and toddlers to develop and build early vocabulary through the introduction of first words and pictures.

My ten month old loved this book. It has a ton of unusual textures that he could run his hands across and it gave me the opportunity to name the different textures. I also mentioned other examples of the textures as well as explained a little bit about each texture example given in the book but that's really just personal preference. For the fluffy chick, for example, I explained how the chick hatches from an egg and grows up to be a chicken or a rooster. There's little chance that my son will remember any of that, but it's never to early to start educating children!
I feel like the only real way to rate these books is on the textures that are included, and I would have liked to see more, but R (15 months) really liked the chick and the duck especially. (Joey and Chandler would be proud.)
First were are the so called touch and feel?! Literally only two pages had anything different about them! Not interesting and definitely not worth buying! What's the point of buying a half assed children's book?
