Very useful book. The newer edition may be slightly better as this older one has many outdated links which are no longer active (so sad the witchcraft bibliography seems to have vanished, it sounded amazing!) but the overall information is very much relevant.

این کتاب رو با ترجمه‌ای خوندم که پژوهشکدۀ تاریخ اسلام تحت عنوان «پژوهش و نگارش تاریخ در عصر دیجیتال» چاپ کرده. گرچه در برخی بخش‌ها متن خام بود و معدود غلط‌های واضحی هم داشت (مثلاً معادل «ارجاع» برای «فوت‌نوت» اومده بود!)، در کل ترجمۀ قابل خواندنی بود.
خود کتاب هم کتاب به‌دردبخوریه و یه پژوهشگر مبتدی در تاریخ می‌تونه در طول پژوهش بارها بهش برگرده و ازش استفاده کنه.
(یادآوری شخصی، برای بعدها: این کتاب منبع میان‌ترم درس روش تحقیق بود.)

I was definitely too far along in my degree to get any real use out of this book by the time it was a prescribed textbook, but I would recommend for first-year historiography classes.
