Renowned restaurateur Bill Granger shares a very personal recipe collection that shows how to prepare for breakfast or lunch, a casual or a formal dinner. Bill loves food and entertaining at home. He believes that eating with friends and family should be a pleasure and that food for all occasions can be prepared without stress, ensuring that the cook enjoys the meal as much as the guests. With his uncomplicated recipes, Bill reveals that everyone has the ability to make food appealing and that it can be done without too much fuss.
My mum has had this book about twenty years but I don't think she had cooked anything from it, in fact, when Bill passed last month I mentioned she had it and she frankly had no recollection of it.
Anyway, it's a recipe book very of it's time. Mostly simple easy recipes, but only one or two I would be interested in trying out. Beautifully presented and laid out. Just feels a little dated?
