Blaze Donner is called to go in search with members of the Crow tribe to find women and children who had been abducted by a rival tribe. His Crow wife, Pretty Bird was included in the kidnapping raid. His bride died at the hands of the enemy Broken Knife and revenge was in Blaze's heart.
