Harps Are Not for Angels

Rate this book
These are memoirs of a life begun in a musical family in Los Angeles in the 1920's. Education and proper training turned a dream into a reality. Aida Mulieri-Dagort spent over thirty years as harpist under contract to two major Motion Picture Studios. Her experiences were fabulous, often terrible and funny.

An absolutely unexpected gem; I picked it up for inside information on the history and persons involved in the film music world, and came away with wonderful anecdotes, wisdom for life, and a wonderful autobiography and memoirs of a fascinating, talented, funny, and honest woman. Highly recommended for musicians, non-musicians, film score lovers, film fans, and anyone in between.

Loved it! Must read if you are a harp player or interested in the old Hollywood days.
