This is actually the second book in a two part series. This story is about the Phillips family after the pioneers have made it to the Utah valley. This book talks about Emily Phillips an actress who was introduced as a very young child in the first book, Joy in the morning. We read about her heartache when she loses her brother as well as love when Joseph a photographer Comes into her life. I Liked the story. I first read it as a teenager and reread the 2 books again a while ago.
This book was a sequal to Jopy in the morning. I loved it. Good romance, a little bit of thrill and I deffinately shed some tears. I would add it to my library.
