Vitale Brothers #2

I’m used to my life being insanity. A family of a-holes, being locked up, and a few loose screws? Yeah anyone would go crazy. (Not that I am. I’m different, that’s all). My brothers say I’m the loose canon of the family. The truth is that I’m the life of the party!

The party comes to a screeching halt when I meet Ash. Shy, younger, virgin. He’s everything I’m not attracted to. Give me an experienced partner anyday.

But there’s something about him that makes me want to keep him. Maybe I want to stoke that fire I see in his eyes. Or maybe I’m just lonelier than I thought.

Either way, he’s mine. Nobody, and I mean nobody, will take Ash away from me.

In short: a big, scary, unhinged mafia brother gets his ass railed by recently de-virginised twink with a massive schlong in order to pay off a human slave debt?

Admittedly, something about this one didn't make me as feral as book 1, that's for sure. But I was still into it 🤷
The whole buying a human in the slave trade market, and making them fuck you to pay off a debt, was kind of weeeeeeird, kinda hot, kinda wrong, kinda horny.
I have alot of feelings and I don’t know which one I should listen to 🙈

Ash was a confusing MC too because he flip flopped between in being a big old traumatised baby man, and a fuck god with unparaleled confidence.
At some point it felt like it was the transition of the Ash growth arc, but then he would act like a bitch for something and annoy me again.

But also, when they start fucking, I would instantly forget any gripes I was having because 🥵🥵🥵

Ash ♡ Gin

re-read on audio November 2023

no idea what kind of accent it was he put on there but I really liked Declan Winter’s performance for this story and its characters. Can def recommend.

4.25***** stars

Uuuggghh! THE DRAMA, baby!! Almost telenovela level. It was delicious. And ridiculous, really. Loved it.

“If you hurt him, there is nothing on this Earth that will keep me from bashing your skull in and pissing in the hole.”

I just can’t even with statements like this. *lmaooo

Anyway, I loved Gin & Ash, maybe even a tad more than Enzo & Tex from book one. Their dynamic was pretty unique if you ask me. And they were both kinda adorable. Especially together. And I loved how their love story began and the deal they struck.

“I thought you were the boss,” he blurted. “Oh my god! I slept with you for nothing?”

Like the first one too, this was not a five-star read (even though I gave it) but then again, these books are so much better, more thrilling and more entertaining than any other mafia romance I read and eventually didn’t like, so… kind of deserved, I guess.

“If I die—”
“Then we die together.”
“Fuck,” Giancarlo moaned. “Did you just propose to me?”

I’m pretty excited now for Benito’s book next.

Paid in Full is a great dark mafia romance. This series created a solid foundation in the first Vitale Brothers entry and this one completely knocks it out of the park with Giancarlo and Ash. One aspect that makes this such a great read is the definite personality differences between Gin and Ash. Giancarlo is a psychotic insecure mess and Ash is a sickly sweet shy cinnamon roll. I loved how their chemistry erodes any doubt regarding their feelings for one another due to their intense connection.

I loved how this story had a great blend of romance and action. The dynamic between Gin and Ash is complicated and I think that aspect of human trafficking was handled well and proved how protective Gin was in regard to Ash's state of mind and overall security. I loved seeing their relationship develop and Ash feel safer in voicing his thoughts. Gin's sweet demeanor with Ash made for a great insight into his real character.

Overall I loved this entry so much. It was dark, and intense, and featured many great moments between Gin and Ash. They really are so much fun together and I loved reading their story. Cannot wait for the next one!

Paid in Full in the second book in the Vitale Brothers series. I really enjoyed the first one and was excited for Giancarlo's story.

While on business to collect a debt, Giancarlo enters an auction house, snatching Ash away from his father, who was trying to sell him. Ash has had a rough life at the hands of his abusive and horrid father and thinks that he may be heading into another terrible situation. However, as crazy and dangerous as Giancarlo is he gives Ash freedom and autonomy despite buying him.

This story gets dark and violent, but there's funny moments between Ash and Gin. Especially when quiet and meek Ash becomes braver and starts talking back. He's only 5'6 (Gin is 6'5) but as he becomes comfortable, we see his true nature which is dominant, aggressive, and possessive take the front stage. These two were a perfect match!

There were a lot of steam and sexy moments. There were some amusing moments with Ash as he let out his dominant nature only to freak out that he might have gone too far with the mobster. Gin had some unexpected layers to him which was nice to see.

Overall it was a great addition to the series and looking forward to the third book, Say I do. Eldest Vitale brother Benito and a marriage of convenience with a Yakuza member? Can't wait.

Please check TWs as this story is bloody, violent and has dark moments.

He’s a fucking mess. Maybe that’s what I like about him.

This is the second book in the Vitale Brothers series and this book focuses on Giancarlo. Gin is busy handling some family business and stops in to their auction house to handle some things. While there he sees that Ash is up for auction and is taken with his appearance. He outbids everyone in a fabulous manner. Turns out Ash is a 22-year-old virgin being sold by his POS father who also happens to owe the Vitales a lot of money. Poor Ash has been raised to basically be a servant and has only been treated like garbage by his father. Ash doesn’t even know what to do with himself now that he’s not under his father’s thumb.

“You got this deer in headlights look going on right now and all I want to do is fuck you up.”

Giancarlo takes a liking to Ash and makes a deal with him. Ash will earn money every time they have sex to buy back his freedom. However, Gin keeps adding things to his tab! Sex lessons, clothes, tax, etc. It’s kind of humorous. Eventually, both of them individually wonder if they want Ash to buy back his freedom.

Gin and Ash make an interesting couple as Gin is a tall 6’5” tough guy and Ash is a timid little 5’6” puppy. Initially, Ash is concerned with Gin’s violent job, but after a while Ash doesn’t seem to mind so much. He appreciates Gin for who he is.

Being near him made me feel at ease. Even knowing his hands were drenched in blood I still wanted him to touch me. To hold me close.

Turns out virgin Ash has a monster cock and Gin likes to bottom. Gin helps bring Ash out of his shell and the sex between these two is HOT. They’re kind of a perfect match for one another.

No matter how many times I let him bend me over, the truth was that I was the one in control and we both knew it. Ash could pout and say please and I would melt for him. But at the end of the day, he belonged to me. Mine. Mine. Mine.

Just like Enzo’s book, there is plenty of violence here. Thanks to Gin’s support, Ash starts to really come into his own. He becomes surer of himself, braver and sassier! He comes out of his shell and we start to see his actual personality shine through. Ash can be aggressive and dominant, especially in the bedroom. I loved watching Ash progress from a shy, scared boy to a young man in control of himself and his choices. I also enjoyed seeing Tex and Penelope make cameos in this book.

Did he even know he was so particular? That he was a pain in the ass, but that I loved it? He became so unlike that fake, bullshit image of him when we met. He was alive. Ash wanted things, demanded things, smiled at me when he was being a manipulative little shit, and I loved it all. To see the real him had been some of the best times of my life.

*** I received an ARC of this book from the authors and this is my honest opinion. ***

Gin is not a very nice character, but I just love him. Maybe it’s the hammer … yeah definitely 🤗 he is my favorite person in this whole series so far.

Skull fragments are terrible for hammers. 🤣🤣🤣

He's just so delightfully batshit nuts and screwed up. And Ash oh Ash, such a sad story and yet he is soooo strong. These two together 🖤🖤🖤

The story, the plot ... honestly not really great. The whole mafia background, which was semi-interesting and ok in the first book, is just ridiculous now. No mafia family could exist like that and certainly not if they were trying to go "legit". But anyway, that doesn't interest me at all. After the first few pages I was so in Gin's head that everything else was just distracting and annoying and my brain had the wonderful ability to just block out everything that didn't have to do with the interactions between Gin and Ash.
And the sex ...

My jaw dropped. He wasn’t even hard, and his cock hung heavy and thick between his thighs.
“Are you a man or a goddamn horse?” I blurted out. I reached out on instinct. “Holy shit!”

This is one of the worst books I’ve read in a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
Both MCs were frustrating and unlikable, making it hard to connect with the story. The writing was overly cringey, and the plot didn’t do much to redeem it.
Debating if I should continue with the series, I’m so annoyed this book put me in a bad mood. 😒

I’m sorry, but my brain just cannot compute the name Giancarlo every time I read it, it felt like two names mashed together 😭. It distracted me way more than it should have, honestly.

That being said, I did love the chaotic energy he brought to the story. He was unpredictable in the best way, and he kept things moving whenever it started to feel a little flat. Him and Ash together were really cute, they had sweet little moments that made me smile, and their chemistry was definitely there.

The reason I can’t rate it higher is that overall, the story felt plain. Not bad, just… nothing stood out enough to make it memorable. The plot didn’t pull me in, and outside of the chaotic charm, there wasn’t much depth to hold onto. I wanted a little more tension or development to really keep me hooked.

Still, it was a quick, easy read and I didn’t hate it. Just not one I’ll be thinking about for long after finishing.

Gin is my new unhinged boyfriend and I love him.
But seriously FOLKS THIS BOOK!!!!!! This fucking BOOK was everything!! ASH! GIN! Ash is my puppy who turns into a greedy, pouty little sex monster when he’s topping his much larger mafia murder daddy, Gin. And Gin is the perfect amount of unhinged and hilarious. Ugh I could read 600 more pages about these 2!

If the small twink with a huge dick is the top and trauma, and the unhinged huge mobster with a personality disorder is the bottom: IMMEDIATE 5 STARS. One less for the references to r*ape and sexual assault.
The puppy /sir nicknames and the murder and mayhem were just the sprinkles on top.
That's it, my review. Super detailed.

And with that the 2023 season comes to end.
Happy new year everyone!

I beamed with pride. “Isn’t she amazing?” He nodded, swinging her up in an arc. “Good weight, great follow through. It’s like this thing is perfectly balanced.” I held up a finger. “She is perfectly balanced. Not ‘this thing,’ though, okay? Respect her pronouns.”

I just love Gin's obsession with his hammer. He reminds me so much of Nikolai Sokolov from God Of Fury

"I wanted us to fucking melt together."

Gin being all of Ash's firsts and those special gloves with the love letter 🥺 goo. this was too cute! I forgot how much I loved these crazy brothers. There were a few cringy, OTT parts that had me skimmin', but I still had fun.I loved how dominant Ash was by the end. That role-playing scene in the office 🥵
The plot held my interest. Mafia/daddy issues. Ash's dad's a real big douche.
Off to Benito's book.

No cheating,sharing/om. Ash was a virgin before Gin and Gin just talked about past hookups.

Re-read on 7th Jun/25

Based on my re-read of the previous installment a few days ago I decided to give Giancarlo and Ash another shot, because I really liked Giancarlo in Enzo's book and boy oh boy am I glad I did it.
I don't know what the hell was wrong with me when I first read this book that I didn't like it, what the fuck was I thinking??? Was I going through a break-up? Was I high? Shit, I don't know!

Looking back on my original review I have no idea what the hell I was talking about. I really have no idea, because this book is fantastic. I'm gonna go as far as to say I like it even more than Enzo's book, which was my favorite so far, so I'm changing my rating to 4.5⭐ and rounding it up (I did read the bonus story).

“You make it sound like I belong to you or something,” I teased.
Giancarlo gripped my chin and turned my head. Our eyes met, and I was stricken by the severity of his gaze. “You’re mine.”

This book is entertaining, funny, sexy with good dialogues, an interesting premise, good main characters, good side characters, depth, emotion and sizzling chemistry, so you'll get it all with a splash of murder, which works for me.

Giancarlo buys Ash and takes him home, but he's a complete gentleman about it. He's not stealing Ash's dignity or being demeaning in any way, he's understanding, supportive and he gives Ash the security and space to open up and be himself.

What I liked the most was the delicate, slow pace of the emotional connection developing between them. It was believable, deep and meant something.

I liked the fact that Ash was involved with Giancarlo's work-life, he was really included and Gin's partner in all aspects.

Giancarlo did fuck up eventually and they did break-up, but it was dealt with within a day and really brought them together and made them even stronger.

I liked the red gloves, the puppy references - yes, it was actually damn sweet and completely innocent - and their sex life was just damn perfect, I have no complaints, best sex ever and they just fit, they're so, so good together.

Giancarlo is unhinged and Ash grounds him, he's the guy Gin really loves for the first time in his life. He's a really good character and I really appreciated how he treated Ash.

So many things were talked about that really covered all aspects of the story you'd want to know and read about. All the little puzzles that made up this fantastic love story in the end.

I definitely recommend reading it!

Scratch my original review - it's lies, all lies! 😄

Original review on 5th July/23

I'm giving this book 3.5⭐, because for me personally it didn't deliver what the first book has. It's fine, I consider it a filler book, but it's nothing spectacular.

🟢 Mafioso/a guy bought at an auction
🟡 Age gap - 22/35
🟠 Bisexual / gay-awakening
🟣 Substantial size difference
🔵 Medium angst
🔴 Who hurt you?
🌶️ Really good smut; t/b majority of the book --> vers at the very end (one scene)

The story is about Giancarlo, the crazy, funny, tall, dark and handsome and brother Vitale, who's got a plethora of mental health issues, is a complete manwhore and
has been to a mental hospital, to prison and is just his own brand of psycho with his brother Benito keeping him in check.

He buys Ash, a young, traumatized and abused virgin, in an auction from the guy that owes the Vitale family a large chunk of money. Ash's father is abusive and a pedofile and Ash has been through heaps of trauma and brainwashing, beating, neglect and is then sold at an auction as a sexual slave.

Giancarlo buys him and takes him home, doesn't want to hurt him, but they make a deal for Ash to pay back the money Giancarlo used to buy him with sexual favours to gain his freedom.

They get down to it the first day already and Giancarlo is impressed with Ash's equipment, so he's also making it a little bit hard for Ash to buy his way out.

Ash does start to open up and get more courageous, but this is exactly what bothered me. Everything about the way Ash was treated just rubbed me the wrong way. Starting with his home situation, which was brutal and Ash was severely traumatized from it. Coming home with Giancarlo I guess I expected not for Ash to be treated with gloves on, but I guess with a little more feeling?

Giancarlo's words just didn't sit right with me. The way he spoke to Ash was terrible and in the best scenario unfeeling, impersonal and done in a way where Ash was constantly reminded he's not free. I suppose I expected a little more from Giancarlo.
He's crazy, I get it, but most of the time that crazy wasn't sexily unhinged, but just crazy.

In the second part of the book Giancarlo's character gets better, although it takes all the way to the final conflict for me to really like him, for him to be this crazy stupid adorable psycho, which was what I expected since the very start.

Their developing relationship didn't sit right with me either. I wanted for Ash to be that courageous, spitfire Ash that he was only on occasion. At 25% of the book I thought the magic was about to begin, but it was only a small part of many small parts throughout the book, not nearly enough.

I had no idea most of the time if they were equals or not. Was Ash a full person or a bought person? Why wasn't his severe trauma taken into consideration? Giancarlo seemed like a big dick who cares only about big dicks. There would be nothing wrong with that if the man showed some depth, but that pool was only a few inches deep.

I wanted Ash' character to be much stronger than he was in the story.

The ending was satisfying, the epilogue pretty great and they plan to get married in the end.

Objectively speaking it's a good story and much lighter than the first book. I hope Benito's book gets better than this, in a way I'm fairly disappointed, considering the tropes I was honestly expecting more.

I was really intrigued by Gin when I read Take Me Apart, and his story did not disappoint. He's such a crazy, fun, dangerous sicko with a sweet side for Ash, well sweet in his own way haha Ash was auctioned off by his POS father, abused his whole life and when Gin buys him, that's the start of Ash finally becoming his own person and them falling in love. It was a rocky start, but I loved their journey and can't wait for Benito's book! This is such a great series. I definitely recommend it!

Declan Winters gave a fantastic performance, loved his narration!

I WAS NOT PREPARED!! I was not prepared!!

This was a ride babies!! It was wild, intense, heartbreaking, filthy, unexpected, passionate, gross, bloody and I freaking loved every page!!

Damn! Giancarlo was a beast. He was ruled by his emotions. He was constantly running from his demons and only wanted to have a good time. Accidentally buying Ash certainly wasn’t in his plan but definitely made for an interesting situation. I love how he wasn’t ashamed of his desires but his past did break my heart. He was struggling!!! But Ash gave him so much of what he needed - time, intimacy, and a willingness to obey - well, sometimes anyway. But Ash also allowed him to let go. To just be.

Poor puppy Ash was so love and affection deprived. He literally had no real concept of what it even meant to be valued. He’d never known real love. While Gin might not have been the saving he anticipated, Gin gave him a sense of belonging. He became empowered to stand up for himself. Ash was able to finally have some control in his own life. This was such a relief since his dad was a giant trash bag.

These two were freaking hot!! Holy shit! And the power dynamic in the bedroom was totally surprising!! I loved it so much!! I loved how they fed off each others energy. I loved how they were so unencumbered and free. The give and take was wonderful. Their codependency could be seen as toxic but they felt so loved and cared for when they were together. Their passion could not be contained. So much so that Benito and Enzo had to remind them they weren’t alone sometimes!

This book was so bloody!! Check the TW if you have some sensitivities or are easily grossed out.

Also, the inclusion of Melony and Chelsea in the story was fantastic!! I love those ladies!!

"Even with your many, many, many, many, many, many, MANY flaws, I still love you. "

It's the way I went into this with the intention of merely getting it out of the way so I could read Benito's story. I fucking love Ash and Gian😫

Gian is so adorable with Ash!
So benevolent! At the start, you can tell that Gian's so EXASPERATED at Ash's MULTIPLE idiosyncracies but he's so patient with him.

My heart poops itself at all their interactions.

I love that they confessed their feelings early enough in the book that we got to have all the sweet scenes, the jealous scenes. THEY'RE SO FUCKING ADORABLE WITH EACH OTHER. OMFG!

These guys have so much fun together!

" I thought you were the boss. Oh my God, I slept with you for nothing?! "
💀💀💀💀💀

The car scene 😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Gian, I wasn't that bad."
"I almost shit myself!"
"From now on, you'll be a passenger princess."
"The stove AND car are now off limits."
I'm DYING 💀💀💀💀💀

Also, their first sex scene 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I haven't laughed so much. Mafia bottom and virgin top is not a combo I had on my bingo card but it really worked. So hilarious!

Ash kept cumming and cumming recklessly all the time, all over the place. Gian dying of horny frustration. 💀💀💀💀💀💀

" I refuse to owe you another dime, you damn loanshark."
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Nah, this book is a GEM! So fucking funny.

What the fuck did I read. Like I actually enjoyed some of it, but what? I was really excited for Gin’s book, but it turned into disappointment once the usual third act breakup plot point happened. There are spoilers after this point so be aware. I wanted to punch Gin so badly. First he literally buys Ash, so there is not way for him to escape. Ash also has no support and has barely even lived a life. He uses his body and the way Gin treats him in the beginning was a no no. I was fine afterwards because there was development. But then there were so many fucking questionable moments that made me think what in the actual fuck I have done to suffer through this. Gin makes Ash wag his dick like a tail. Because he reminds him of a dog. 😀 No fuck no. I physically slammed my phone down and screamed. No. Just no. Also he calls Ash "Kid". It just left a werid taste in my mouth. I should have stopped, but no being me I thought it would get better. It did until the third act break up happened.

“I love you.”
“So what?”

The fuck do you mean “So what”. I was so close to actually throwing myself off a building. Like I swear I bet he was mad that was stagger up cruel. Though he did actually get on his knees to grovel. But it would have been so much better if Ash punched him in the face a couple of time. You know?

I’m continuing because I read the blurb for the next book, and I can say that I am intrigued.

MM Romance
Mafia

DNF @ 50%

🎵Narrated by Declan Winters🎵 💗

I don’t know why but this one is just not working for me. I loved Enzo and Tex but Giancarlo and Ash are just kind of annoying me. I’m so sick of Giancarlo calling Ash kid ugh that has to be one of my most hated nicknames and the fact it’s being used in the other mafia book I’m currently reading as well is just too much. I know Ash was sheltered and abused by his shithead dad so it’s understandable he’s the way he is but besides the fuck hot first sex scene I’m just kind of bored by him? I don’t know if this is my slump or the book so I’ll put this in my “will finish later” shelf but I don’t know if that will ever happen.

Will I read Benito’s book? I can’t say I was all that interested until someone in my discord mentioned there was a murder twink that attacked Benito sometimes and well maybe I could get behind that. Maybe.

No rating because I’m pretty sure it’s me that’s the problem.

Ash is 22, gay, 5'6”, a virgin. He has been abused by his dad his whole life, and is sold at an auction off to Giancarlo, to settle his father's debt. Ash is innocent, loyal, smart, but also... ready to let his freak flag fly when given an opportunity to step out of his shell.

Giancarlo is 35, bi, from a mafia family, incredibly violent and unhinged mentally. In a "has panic attacks" way but also in a gleeful shit-talking dirty way. He turns this story into a crack!fic honestly, and I don't say that in a bad way, the chaos is entertaining. He's up for anything sexually, but when he sees how hung Ash surprisingly is, he completely shatters into chaotic bottom energy. Ash rails him like he's an Energizer Bunny. A slight negative of this book is the incredibly unrealistic refractory periods, lol.

These guys make a deal for Ash to buy his freedom back with sex. But neither are counting too hard, both are making excuses to extend their connection, both are catching feels hard. There was a bunch of humour in this book, entertaining smut, possessiveness, affection. I'm not usually a big fan of dark/mafia romance but the humour and chaos entertained me. I liked it.

Some notable moments:

"“Fuck, you’re still hard?” Giancarlo groaned. I whimpered as Giancarlo forced me to stop. Sweat glistened on both of our bodies. “One more time, please.” Giancarlo glanced over at the nightstand. “Shit, it’s already four in the morning.”"

"“And that’s all this is. Where’s the boy now?” “In my guest room, sleeping. He’s probably exhausted.” “…Why?” “Um.” I scratched the back of my head. “That one is hard to explain.”"

"My stomach growled. “I better order some pizza. The stitches won’t kill me, but Ash’s cooking might.” “We followed the recipe,” Benito said, looking genuinely distressed. “I know,” I said, patting him on the shoulder. “You still suck, though.” “Fuck you, Gin.”"

*FYI, I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink."

12/31/23: HAD to reread this because Gin is just everything and i refused to end the year on a bad note so thanks for the tip Elena 😂🩵 2024 gonna be the year of re-reads since i simply outdid myself this past 12 months (and it will never happen again) happy new year everyone! x

i LOVED Giancarlo. he's exactly the type of menace that i adore seeing as mmc in a dark romance. yes, he is entirely unhinged, but he is also a huge golden retriever in his own way. i would never call him a cinnamon roll bcs he's not exactly, but it was too much fun to watch him switch back and forth between being a goofy ass mf who gets his boyfriend off in the car of someone who annoyed him and a depraved psycho murderer twirling his beloved hammer.

i also really liked the puppy name calling for some reason. it definitely fit Gin and Ash's relationship. i typically balk at the use of the moniker "sir" cos i think it's corny beyond belief, but something about Ash being puppy and Gin being Sir, only for the roles to be reversed in bed, just did it for me. Gin is def chaotic bottom energy personified. it was very true to form that they both told each other "i love you" several times before the end of the book. that wouldn't have been on brand for Enzo and Tex, but it fit these two bcs as insane as Gin is, he really was just a lonely softie craving to be wanted and needed the way Ash was for him. i liked that this wasn't a standard captive situation, but was instead Ash choosing to stay with Gin as soon as he was purchased. even tho Giancarlo is ready to square up with anyone, including Ash, in order to keep him; it always felt like there was still a choice being extended to Ash. neither of them hesitated about enjoying one another and i was here for it since the push and pull can get to be tired after awhile.

How can a book feel so very real and so very unreal at the same time?

I mean… look at the plot: there’s Giancarlo Vitale (I dare you to read his name without an Italian accent 🤣), the “funny one”, or at least he feels like that if you don’t look below the surface. And Ash, the innocent 22yo virgin who’s sold on an auction by his father in an attempt to cover his debts. Just to spite him, Gian buys Ash for 1.5 million dollars and takes him home.

Yeah. So very realistic, right?

Yet their relationship is… sweet, if I may say so. Ash is so willing to please and put on a calm and cheerful demeanour (a thing that Gian hates right from the start, and makes him rile Ash up at every opportunity), yet he’s the one holding all the power in their relationship. Gian has his own issues to deal with, and he’s coarse and rough, yet you feel how he falls in love with Ash, how even the attempt to stay away from him at the beginning is more of a defence mechanism because he knows that Ash sees through his bullshit.

I loved it a tiny bit more that book one, maybe also because it’s not quite as gory (while Enzo is the “executioner”, Gian is more like a big feral cat who plays with his food before he kills it).

Seeing Ash’s growth made me ridiculously happy, and Ash and Gian together have the potential to become one of my favourite couples.

The narration by Declan Winters is perfect, I love the way he adds little laugh or scoffs and the like to the dialogues to make them even more lively.

Definitely recommend the audio, again with the TW: it IS a bit gory at times, but in a way I couldn’t take too seriously. And only the bad guys die, so there’s a certain satisfaction that comes with it 😬

THIS BOOK WAS FREAKING HILARIOUS I WAS OBSESSED

I LOVE GIN AND ASH OMG THEY WERE SO PRECIOUS. I love love me a chaotic and unhinged MC x Golden Retriever MC dynamic.

Giancarlo was an absolute batshit crazy and i was obsessed with his character so much. Him and Ash were so opposite but they match each other so well.

I also love how this book talks about mental health especially how people deal with trauma differently 🥹🫶

I am eating this series up ahhhh I can’t wait to read Say I Do!
