For me, this book shows the perspective on food-metabolism relate to obesity and how to control your bodyweight. It is written in accessible language, yet base on medical study(from 1980s-2010s). The author mentions not only energy in-out but also the effect of gut hormone/food type, set point of your bodyweight(in my opinion this keyword 'weight set point' may change your perception about weight loss and weight gain problem in your life) If you want to understand or try to reduce your weight this book will guide you through basic of metabolism and weight control.
