Rick Hanson, Ph.D., is a psychologist, Senior Fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, and New York Times best-selling author. I didn’t enjoy this book. Although it has experiential exercises, I did not find them useful or applicable. This felt like a meditation book than a self-help book. However, I appreciate the effort the author has put into this book and he has tried his best to include personal examples.
