Rose's Journey: A Christian in the Holocaust

Rate this book
First published under the name, "The The Story of Rose Warmer's Triumphant Discovery" this book is being reissued with an updated Epilogue. In Stuart Dauermann's review, he says, "This book is the remarkable story of a remarkable woman. It is a story inexplicable apart from the reality of God. I met the author in the 1970s in Israel when she was in her 70s and was profoundly moved by her intelligence, the attentiveness with which she interacted with me, and by the gracefulness of her hands and body movements. A sculptor and dancer in her youth, her body bore everlastingly the characteristics of her craft and giftedness. My meeting lasted perhaps 45 minutes, but I have never forgotten it. Nor have I forgotten Rose's book. Here you too will meet her in all her gracefulness and intelligence. But most importantly, you will meet her faith in Yeshua, Jesus her Messiah, a faith which transformed her life and which shone brightly in the concentration camps where even people who despised her for being a Jew who believed in "that man" were drawn to her again and again to drink from the wellsprings of faith and hope which sustained her, and them. Come, read, and meet Rose Warmer. As for me, so for you, it will be an unforgettable and transforming experience."

Incredible!

Won’t it be wonderful someday to know how many people came to know Christ as their Savior because of Rose Warmer? What an incredible story! Her perseverance is beyond belief, and so inspiring. A true story, beautifully written. I had a very hard time putting it down and was sad for it to end. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

Rose's Journey: A Christian in the Holocaust was an amazing read. I tells the story of a woman named Rose who grows up in a Jewish family in Austria and Hungary during the days of WWI and those leading up to Hitler's rise in Europe. In 1939, at the age of 30, Rose gave her heart to the Messiah, to the Savior, to the Lord Jesus Christ and it was then that she also gave her life to Him. This book chronicles all that she endured for her Lord and Savior as she shared the Gospel with and ministered to her people, in the most horrifying of circumstances and conditions that we know of as the holocaust. Rose's life story with move you to tears, but it will also encourage you and strengthen your faith in the sovereignty of the Lord. I highly recommend this book!

Talented, energetic, successful, depressed, fearful. Rose was about to go through the hardest years of World War 2. Then before the Nazi's destroyed everything precious to her, she finds the Messiah. She goes into great detail about the spiritual scene of Hungary. After explaining the emptiness and terror of spiritism, she tell's of her wonderful deliverance through Jesus. Then her trials in concentration camps began. Through all of that she was faithful to witness of Jesus' saving power.

What an inspiration for my life!!!! I don't find the exact words for describing this book in words, which speaks of a great life, lived only for the GLORY OF GOD!! I really liked it very much, because she lived like Jesus...every step she took I saw Jesus reflected like in a mirror. Oh, how I desire to be like that! Help me Lord
