Wow - this guy had an amazing life - and he recounts the best parts of it in this VERY readable book. The story of how RFK's assassination would have been prevented by better staffwork alone makes this worth the read - RFK's campaign staff had specifically discussed keeping him out of the kitchen. "Where was he?" "In the kitchen." "In the KITCHEN???"

It was fun to read about the Kennedy White House from an insider, but the rest of the book left me cold.
