I bought this book shortly after GDPR was introduced by EU. Mostly because of the panic caused by media and from the hizzyfits everyone in the Web Development industry had about altering their systems to comply with this new Law about how to store and handle private information about individuals. I read this book to be informed for work. Since one of my responsibilities was to make sure websites were GDPR-compliant to the best of my knowledge as well as to offer guidance to my boss when questions regarding this topic arose. I feel this book delivered what I expected and for anyone interested or in need or learning about GDPR, it sure is a good option. It's quite a lengthy book with many pages but it's well-written and very informative. It explained the huge Law-document in less page than the law itself and it did it in a more structured and easy-to-absorb-way. As a Web Development professional I can highly recommend this book for this purpose.
