Wow, does this bring back memories. The first retrospective exhibition of my father's work two years after his death. i don't know if this book is hard to find. But nevertheless it does include a nice essay by the Poet Robert Duncan. Overall the other books are much better production, yet the first one is usually close to the heart.
Hal Glicksman did some really great exhibitions. Maybe George Herms took me to see it when I was visiting Los Angeles. There is a pristine copy of this catalog in the Frank J. Thomas Archives, of which I am the keeper. Frank took the photographs of Berman's work and they look pretty good, if I do say so myself.
