For a book written over 50 years ago, the message is still strong and relevant. The premise is that Jesus's healing that required a second touch is illustrative of a Christian's spiritual journey; that it takes part in stages. While the author is mainly addressing Christian lay education, I found his analysis applicable in a more general way.

Had some points that were incredible and even better than The Taste of New Wine, that really changed my perspective on the Christian lifestyle. But…also had some points that were a bit of a slog. Would still recommend to anyone who read the first. Very good book on laity.
