The complicated character of Patrick Pearse is described beautifully here. Patrick was a teacher, barrister and leader of the Irish rebellion the Easter Rising 1916. This book shows that while Patrick appeared conflicted he simply had very different parts of him that complimented each other as they contrasted. Every aspect of who he was became necessary for him to lead the 1916 Rising. This book details all of those fascinating aspects of Patrick Pearse.
