Murder Benign

Rate this book
A DCI Sidney Walsh novel of suspense. Sir Gordon Lignum, a Cambridge archaeologist, is brutally battered to death with an iron bar. On a pad in his study he has, perhaps, left a he'd doodled B9 and K9. DCI Sidney Walsh soon has a list of suspects - including the beautiful Lady Lignum, who has several admirers and benefits financially from her husband's death and whose alibi is not totally convincing. Some leads go absolutely nowhere, but a midnight watch at an archaeological site and a daylight chase through the City streets eventually bring a dramatic solution to the case of the battered baronet.
