Musing in Time

This is a collection of my personal poems, many of these are written for individuals, I am leaving their names off to protect their privacy but I am sure they all know who they are. I have been writing for a very long time and several of these poems give an indication to the period they were written. I dated the originals and know the majority were written in the 1990's. Even a few were inspired by nonsense songs that were around back in the day. I hope you enjoy.

About the author

I grew up in the middle of no where. Population 1 person per 5 square miles. What do you do when there are so few people around? You sing to yourself while riding the bike, run when you are angry with your parents and get lost in the woods. I wrote my first poem when I was about 10. From there it was pure poetry with the thought, someday I'll write a book. It was the words of Kathleen Woodiweiss that propelled me. While I digested book after book, stories formed in my mind. It took another thirty years before I sat down and wrote Tikan Empire. The story pretty much wrote itself from book one all the way through book 6. Today I live with my husband and dog in Pennsylvania where I write, read, tend the flower beds and walk.
