Okko: The Cycle of Emptiness is the fifth and final volume of the Okko series, took me a lot of effort to trace it down. We finally get the backstory on all the core members of the gang, their origins, how they met and why they journey as they do, all questions are answered. All this while I wanted the back story, finally when I got it, it left me unsatisfied, it turned out to be the weakest and least entertaining of the volumes.

The art is still good, Hub is a master artist and it shows. Each of the illustration is clean and clear, the colors really beautiful.

La serie de Okko es magnífica; no solo a nivel gráfico, que es espectacular, sino también a nivel narrativo. Esta cualidad queda patente en este último volumen que es el mejor de la serie, en mi opinión.

Impressionnante cette fin de saga ! On y retrouve finalement la réponse a toutes les questions sur les origines des personnages. Bravo a l'auteur !
