This is a very useful book for improving linework, perspective, light, texture, and composition. My only critique is that it goes from extremely beginner to quite sophisticated quickly, without a ramp-up that would be useful for intermediate draftspeople.
I already read this book in Sheridan College Fundamentals of Drawing class, it's very basic information about drawing in perspectives. The book is mainly about perspective drawing; however, it has some information about materials, decorations and objects drawing.
