This is the story that one young lawyer battles with one large law firm and large insurance company. Apart from too many characters appeared, I was attracted by the interesting story, the enthusiasm and passion of main character and the understandable English. They were made me to want to read the author's other books.

Maravilloso. Los chanchuyos de la ley, los abogados y las obras sociales son de una astucia impecable. Primer libro que leo de Grisham pero definitivamente no será el último

I would suspect that the "real" book is better, this was a short version of it and you can really tell it was.

He is very enthusiastic because his situation wasn't hope and weak(because he was new). But he didn't obey his destination. He become to find his case and fight against powerful insurrance company. He is very strong and justice. Actually, I didn't finish yet, but I expect he grow up as honest lawyer.

This novel is about law. John Grisham was a lawyer for a while. It's his major. Maybe he got a lot of case when he was lawyer. So he can find ideas easily. He might reflect himself through the main character. This novel is generally interesting, but the forward of that is some boring. Because I don't have any idea about law. He might be trying to share the victory of justice.

I expected that Rudi get back justice. He worked very hard his best. His friend was daed and his lover was arrested in jail. He was fall in difficult situation. But he won. I agree with author. But Rudi and his girl friend run away with other name and job. They can't live in there. I can't understand. Why do they have to go away? They can't live by themlselves. I wanted more comfortable ending.
