What a stupid idea

I really liked this book. Really. This is one of those used book store treasures you latch onto and carry tightly the entire time you browse because you irrationally think someone else might snatch it if you set it down for a moment. I love a find like that. Makes my heart go pitty-pat.
James Nocito began collecting vintage photos long before many people considered them much more than trash. (Wouldn't you love to go through his piles?) After twenty years of collecting, he chose perfect images and paired them with words. Sometimes quotes, sometimes copies of the original owners' words on the back, sometimes his own mini-stories. If he had used only his own words, this would have been a five star book. He wrote the most interesting stories for them.
