There is only one reason to read this hyped, illusive book: the (hopefully) only time someone has used the metaphor "hot missile of erect love". It has it's so-bad-it's-good moments, mostly through incredibly stupid young men, cartoonish nazis and awful new words for dicks, but the rest of the time it's a poorly written, thoughtless piece of pulp, starring literature's possibly most hapless hero. But what can you expect from gay nazi porn?
Okładka jest bardzo zachęcająca. I to w sumie tyle, z całej książki najlepsza jest okładka :D "Go down, Aaron" jest hmm... takim książkowym pornolem klasy B... No to tyle, 1/5... no może 1,5/5 max ;)

I had originally come across this book’s cover as a meme. I was prepared for a disaster with loads of sleazy erotica and the insensitivity you might expect from “N*zi porn”, and expected to entertain myself for perhaps a few pages and a good chuckle.
What I got instead was completely different.
Pleasantly surprised seems like an understatement for a gay pulp that had me glued to it; I literally read it cover to cover, and towards the end I caught myself smiling at the joy of true love and even wiping tears at the end. Do not let the cover fool you, this is a brutal story of survival, self-discovery, and love.
The smut is merely flavoring, and takes a backseat to the unfolding story of Aaron and the things he endures.
Yes, the writing could have been better.
Between an immense overuse of the characters names even in back-to-back sentences, odd division of chapters and paragraphs, time-skips that catch you off-guard -likely because of the latter-, and the types of mistakes that make you wonder if this was ever proof-read (seriously, how do you end up with repeating sentences, the wrong “your”, mixing up names, etc) it can be hard not to judge a book. And the erotica is, well,... written quite curiously. Missiles, daggers, clingy sheaths, glue, and more await in these pages.
But behind those errors lies a gripping and tragic story; the kind that made me write my first ever review on here. Because damnit I love a good drama.
if you go into this book expecting a masterpiece you will be extremely disappointed. however, if you go into it expecting weird schlocky gay smut, you’ll find that and a surprisingly tender story at times. with a bit of polish i think it could have become something very special; unfortunately it does use the term “hot missile of love”, and the sex scenes are extremely bad. Also the ending kind of sucks- it was going for an epic tragedy but came out of nowhere and felt so out of place that it almost ends up being humorous. that said, with tempered expectations i can see this being a fun read for some- it certainly was entertaining, if nothing else.
The cover promised nazi torture porn, but the torture part is marginal and that's what makes it even more disturbing, LMAO. I think the most charitable way to read this book is to take it as BDSM race play erotica gone off the rails, and considering this is a 1960s Greenleaf Classics production it definitely makes sense. Would not recommend, though...
