Now I must say this book was very well researched. However, it's important to note that we are all at different developmental stages and times in our lives, therefore certain books and or messages really hit home and unfortunately some do not but nonetheless you still have a strong enough desire to finish the book. Sometimes out of curiosity or an attempt to see what the authors really have to share. Regardless of my three-star rating, perhaps I can still say this is a good book to read and gain a fresh perspective on one of live's struggle in this century (Attention or Focus Deficit as I call it) Read it if you may but I borrowed it from my local library and boy am I glad I did.!

I'd hoped this book would have ideas for countering distractions and staying energetically focused on the task at hand, but it turned out instead to be a book on finding meaning and satisfaction in life. I didn't get *that* from the cover and back page blurbs! Once I adjusted to the actual subject matter, I found it full of practical, useful ideas for finding one's path, creating a life of meaning, developing a spiritual life, and finding happiness. All good, succintly and clearly presented, but not quite what I was hoping to find.

Short and sweet, with good advice for those who want to trim the unnecessary from their lives. The extremely short version: turn off your TV.
