Got this book through amazon shops for $1.50 (before shipping). Originally published in 1977. Reading it now, it's quite charming.
Haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but I plan to make their version of "funn" soon. It's made with Swansdown Cake Flour, instead of rice flour, so I'm interested to find out how it turns out.
This book is well aged now, but all the info is great. This book will teach you how to make many of your favorite Dim Sum dishes. The instructions are clear and the ingredients authentic. The books contains several photos of Ms. Yee's dim sum school students a la the 1970's. Great fun.
Rhoda's personal stories make the book. It felt like a Chinese grandmother was in the kitchen with you, giving you tips and telling you personal anecdotes.
