Chuck Swindoll is a great writer and has beautiful analogies and alliterations
This book is an encouragement for anyone that feels like they are still in the race and are tired and need a second wind! God is our second wind and still wants us to see the beauty of His love for us and understand the perspective we should have - that this is not our home.

Very uplifting look on life. The author Chuck Swindoll has a unique perspective on the way we should look on life. This book is a keeper. Since it is in paper back I am going to have to repair it because of all those who read it before me. Thanks Chuck for a different look on life.

A tiny little thing, but I chose not to finish it. Too “cutesy”!

This book encourages Christians who feel as though they've fallen down and failed God in some way to get back up and begin again. Swindoll's style is easy to read. He grabs the reader's attention with anecdotes and Biblical examples and shows the discouraged person that all is not lost. He shares Bible truths and their applications to life for those trying to come back to a close walk with God.

This particular edition I'm reading is a tall, thin, paperback with some beautiful, full color photographs that make it a nice gift book. Give it to someone who needs to come out of a deep hole back into the light and sunshine of God's grace.
