This is a collection of poetry and short stories by four Native American writers. I liked some of the poems by Al Hunter and the poem My Mother And I Had A Discussion One Day by Denise Sweet. I thought the short story Veterans Dance by Jim Northup was good too. But besides that, I didn't enjoy this very much. It was still worth a read though.
Denise Sweet was the best thing about this collection. Good Adrian Louis poems as well, but I've read them all in other collections. Hunter was less impressive for me, not of the same caliber as the other two poets.
