7月16日生まれ、蟹座、O型。
2000年「夏の塩」（成美堂出版 クリスタル文庫）にてデビュー。同作品は、1996年『小説JUNE』77号に掲載。
『小説JUNE』にて連載されていた投稿作批評コラム「中島 梓 (栗本薫の別名義)の小説道場」の門下生。文章力に定評があり、物語性のある作品が多い。シリアスからコメディまで、作風は多様性に富む。
BL以外のライトノベル作品は、〝榎田 ユウリ〟で執筆している。

P.S. There is a very emotionally charged scene at the end of his book that still makes me cry when I re-read it.

This volume picks up where the last volume left off. It’s so fast-paced that I finished it within 24 hours. At one point, the whole “team work vs the lonely villain” feels like I was reading some Shonen manga. I like how they eventually ensnared the villain (probably because the stupid usb stick doesn’t come into play anymore). I also like how MC and ML betrayed each other and forgave each other at the end. This and the last volume make me so glad that I picked up this series despite my reservations with it being about yakuza.
