After some creatures ruin the engines, Stone gets out to fix it but a whirlpool separates him from the rest of the team. Now, the team must wade though the seas to find him while escaping dangerous predators.
The plot is great and informative. Sean is given a greater role in this book and the encounters with the beasts are illustrated beautifully.
