Solidae, a young girl who lived with her grandmother in Jamaica, had an encounter with Mancrow, a part bird/part man being who took great joy in robbing the other creatures of their color and thus the world of its color. Her grandmother told her that all color lived in his one colored feather so she determined to get this feather away from him to return color to the world.
