Luc Hellbourne is crushed when his werewolf lover dumps him for a female. Feeling unwanted he gives himself to the first guy who asks, Master Vampire Nikkolai Remondi. This is definitely not story for me. All emotions were so shallow and empty, and the characters were boring!

I started this series with Hellbourne: Lost and Found and wasn't much impressed with it because it felt jagged and incomplete. Reading all three as one story fixed that (a lot) but there were still parts that felt somewhat disjointed.
Luc, the son of Lucifer, sleeps with anyone and everyone though his heart clearly belongs to one. (Okay, okay, at first he's looking for rebound sex, but anyway...) Some of the extra sex fits into the plot, but others (Jerrod) didn't seem necessary. Now, that being said, Luc wasn't a romantic (though I think his wolf might've said he was) and he seemed at ease in his playing, so Jerrod fit in with the character Kell painted.
I did like that Luc didn't have a perfect life even though he had perfect beauty, some damn strong fae powers, and both damned and not-damned powerful relatives. Everything comes full circle from his lover spurning him for pups to his friend's betrayal to a lust-at-first-sight undead stalker. I may not have enjoyed each aspect, but I had to point out that it all made some sense since there were some reviews that didn't "get" some of those minor characters.

Jesus, it's like a magical buffet bar that serves ten thousand helpings of Stu.
The MC, Luc, is the biggest Gary Stu ever. He's gorgeous, overpowered, immortal, loved by everyone, lusted after by everyone, is a demon master, vampire master, and his attitude factor is over 9000.
EVERY character wants to have sex with him, with the exception of maybe his brother and father, but only because if they do, the A.K. will have to add the incest tag. I mean, what other reason could they possibly have to deny Luc's perfection?
Seriously, 100/100 on the Stu Scale.

3.75 Stars rounded up. Not a whole lot of depth but just a fun romp. I really enjoyed it.

I loved jarrod the most for his devotion to lucifer and how his demon servant would go back to the place where he was tortured.
But i also loved his mates the only character i didn't really like was his eldest brother.

Amber Kell has written another great shifter story in Hellbourne. It's a quirky tale that involves vampires, demons, werewolves, and the half fae son of Lucifer himself. Luc Hellbourne has had one hell of a few weeks. His werewolf lover of twenty years has left him for a female, he's become the new lover of a master vampire, his father wants him back in Hell permanently, and his brothers give new meaning to the term sibling rivalry!
This is a character driven story that gives a unique and slightly hilarious twist to the idea of having a bad day. The plot flows smoothly from point to point without annoying jumps, and the characters are likeable. The sex is steamy and hot without being smarmy, and the action is skillfully blended with enough angst to produce a entertaining tale. The author's style of writing is original, clear, concise, and slightly quirky. I really, really enjoyed reading this walk on the wacky side tale, and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for something decidedly different to read.

I really liked this book. I however was disappointed with the ending. Not knowing if there is going to be more books added to this was a let down. However, the entire concept was put together very well and pulled me in. I ended up reading the book in one day. Usually very hard for someone like me, but it just sucked me in.

At first the book didn't appear appealing to me, but as I read more into it I found myself liking it more that I thought I would. All of the characters were likable, and the writing was pretty amusing too. Anyway, it was fun and easy to read- perfect for a casual reading.
Plus I really enjoy the little harem they constructed here. :3

2.5 stars. This was okay, and I liked the first few chapters. But as the story progressed, it just became less fun to read. There didn't seem to be a limit to Luc's powers, other than overusing it so he becomes exhausted.
