Enchanted Waters
When Irma meets a peculiar old man at her father's office, she doesn't know what to do. He can predict the future and talks about magical sea creatures. He seems to know all of her secrets-and all the secrets of W.I.T.C.H. Is he some sort of magical creature? He says he knows how to help the Guardians, but when he is kidnapped, it's the Guardians who must come to the rescue. Levelheaded Cornelia doesn't believe the man's story and Taranee's hot temper flares. Can they come together to save the man and keep one another safe.

Ah, W.I.T.C.H. So much of my childhood was spend obsessing over the series. The books. The comics. The cartoon. The merchandise. You name it I was into it.
So why only the three stars if I loved it so much?
Well as time went by, I grew disinterested in the series. I went along with it mainly to see how it ended. I simply wanted to know what the final outcome was.
Surely that is not enough to merit three stars? You loved it!
I did, but that was because I was a pre-teen with very low expectations. This came before my vampire-loving period, so you can imagine what my standard was like. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad books – they’re simply not something I can go back to now that I’m older.
Thoroughly enjoyable at the time, but not quite so much now.

The books seemed to have changed a lot since they first started but I am happier now that are using their powers again and working together again.

Technically, this was interesting but.. man the overall plot is boring now. They ran out of villains so this turned into a domestic story. Awesome.

Great re-read, Irma got to showcase some powers and the girls learn that Earth does have it's own magical creatures in this part of the story. They were able to save Jewel and free him at the same time. It was fantastic to see them work together even when they were having disagreements about Jewel's prediction's. The little back story with their new computer science teacher is interesting and very serious that this interpol agent is interested in the girls. This was a brilliant and stunning re-read, very enjoyable.

Moje dětství ve světě Witch. Na tyhle strážkyně nezapomenu, provázeli mě celým dětstvím a já jsem do nich byla úplně ''zažraná''. Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia a Hay Lin, všechny jsem je milovala.
Nesmím zapomenout ani na Elyon, i když udělala pár nesprávných rozhodnutí, samozřejmě i další důležité postavy : Věštce, Caleba, Joela, Orube, Cedrika, Matta, Luka, Erica, babičku Hay Lin....
Rozhodně to byla má nejoblíbenější dětská série, at už komixy nebo seriál. I když mě mrzí,že v ČR nevyšel poslední díl Friends forever. :( Doporučuji všem mladším slečnám. ;)

Brilliant 25th Chapter book instalment. Mystery and suspense all the way through. Really enjoyed this one. Now I am ready the last instalment and conclusion to this childhood chapter book series.

Enchanted Waters
PLOT: After visiting (and dropping off something) for her Dad at the police station, Irma has an encounter with a strange man that can somehow see into the future and tells her things about each one of W.I.T.C.H. Things the other girl's don't take that well. The advice goes. (WILL) Don't get to close to her Dad (whose back in the picture) because he's shady. (CORNELIA) Take up ice skating again. (TARENA) That she has a secret (HAY LIN) That she'll have peace and things will be easy going in her life for a minute. Irma in her usual abrupt way isn't subtle with her deliverance and this causes tension among them. That is until she makes it right and tells them these aren't her thoughts and that they're from the strange man (Jewel). So Jewel mysteriously disappears but leaves behind a red book that talks about (water shadows?) So they all investigate, but the only thing they find of suspicion is their new substitute teacher. They find a man that looks like Jewel but isn't but is connected to Jewel and he tells them this story of how Jewel is a water shadow that saved his life and in turn loved him so much that he fell for him and gave him predictions that he used to come up in life. But an evil gang found out about it and kidnapped Jewel. So WITCH finds Jewel just in time and before he falls to his grave Irma uses her magic and turns him back into a water shadow. Also, we find out that the sub is an undercover detective and it's his mission to find out who WITCH really are.
MY THOUGHTS: I was trying to think about what to say about Enchanted Waters. It was an easy read. Not so easy to put thoughts into words. I did like it, but there wasn't a particular reason why I did. So I'll just talk about the characters and what's going around them. (WILL) I think it's a shame for a parent to put the child in the middle of bitter feelings toward the spouse and I feel bad when she opens her eyes and see that her father is using her to hurt her mother. (CORNELIA). What kind of jerk is Caleb to drop her because she's human? Was this ever shown in the cartoon? But I'm glad that by the end of this she's discovered another love and they didn't do the cliché and have her find a new boy, and just let her new love be her old love (which is skating). It sends a deeper message. (TARENA) WOW! I have never seen shy, sweet, Tarena this hot! But then Miss Cook was WAY out of line! I don't even think that telling Will's mother, in the end, made up for the way you struck Tarena. Maybe she was "a little" in the wrong. Like maybe 10 percent. But she did have an assignment to review the place. So that wasn't a lie. And then did I miss something why was no one there when they arrived? (HAY LIN) I really didn't have any thought of because her part in this was minimal other than her having a new boyfriend. Oh let's go back to (WILL) She over-reacts a little when she finds out Matt is talking to another girl, but shouldn't he have gotten over this and talked it out with her other than just freezing her out cold. Yeah. So maybe she did look a little pyscho, but I thought men liked that. Then there's (IRMA) the center of the book. But I really didn't have any thoughts on her either other than being glad she was so quick thinking and used her magic to save (JEWEL) Man do I wish I had a Jewel. But then I probably would have been the Irma in this and he wouldn't have had a reading for me.

I used to like these series. Now, I don't think they're so good anymore. I got up to number 12 or something like that, and they've gone up to #26 or something... and they're still coming out!! I'm not really interested into them anymore, but I used to be.

I loved this series! All of the different girls had their own individual personalities that made the series more enjoyable to read. Also, of course the cool magical powers was a plus. I loved the character relationships and adventures the girls got themselves into.

This one stands for the entire series: great fantasy, but you might not like it if your over 13... This book, the 25th, is the only book that I don't have of this series; I already have 1-24 and 26.
