[Menage Amour Erotic Alternative Paranormal Menage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, werewolves] Nikolai Miroslav was sent to the frozen north of Russia to investigate a pack of Tri Omegas. He can't find a single trace of them, but he does find Vasiliy Federov, the sweetest-smelling man he's ever met. When Vasiliy accepts his proposition for a night of sex, Nikolai is thrilled until the next morning when Vasiliy informs him that their lives are in danger. Better yet, somehow during their sexual escapades the previous night, they mated each other. Unfortunately, the danger to them is real, and a wolf hunter is bent on killing them both. When Serge Dmitriev attacks the house, Niko finds himself with another mate, one who has no idea he's a wolf. The man doesn't even realize that during his attack on Nikolai and Vasiliy, they forged a mating bond between all three of them that will only end in death. Now, Nikolai finds himself with two mates he never planned on having, a basement full of Tri Omegas, an insane Beta trying to kill him, and a band of hunters wanting their heads. If Nikolai, Vasiliy, and Serge have any hope of getting out alive, they will need to work together, and that means accepting their mating bond. But is what they might have together worth changing their entire lives? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

What do I do ? I'm a writer of erotic, paranormal, werewolf, futuristic, contemporary, gay, and Ménage a Trois romances. I'm currently published with Siren Publishing, Torquere Press, and Noble Ellora's Cave.
There are things I've come to expect when reading Stormy Glenn books. Smex, very often within the first few pages of characters meeting, then frequently throughout the book and at inappropriate time. There is always tears and crying, usually by the alpha male. And a little bit of plot thrown in for good measure. I got all that and a tiny bit more complex in the way of plot drama which made this a slightly more interesting read than usual.
This is a great addition to the Tri-Omega series. There is a lot of information about the whole Tri-Omega situation, adding to the overall story of what is behind these individual books. Makes it look as if there is a lot more to come in terms of solving the riddle of so many Tri-Omegas being born.
The issues around the three men who have bonded are as serious as ever. Nikolai doesn't even want a mate, which hurts Vasiliy. Vasiliy is a powerful alpha and not used to rejection. Serge doesn't only not know he is an omega, he is a werewolf hunter intent on killing the other two. Messy? Oh yes. Makes you want to smack these guys upside their heads so they wake up and grow up? Totally! Hot when they get together in bed or out? Absolutely.
Definitely looking forward to the next in the series!
2-2.5 stars Alpha Vasiliy ---> Vaska?? WTF? I'm sorry, is he the alpha of a pack of cats? (See explanation in this review).
Just in case I've read it two times and I still don't think I like this book. Much. There's a lot of action in the story, more then in the previous ones, but is also has an overall very gloomy atmosphere.
For a 200+ pages novel (especially with this particular amount of text per page) it's too many new characters and some events are a bit rushed, especially towards the end of the story. It almost looks like originally the book had much more pages and then it either was divided in two or some parts moved to other or future stories. I also couldn't find any jokes or good-hearted banter, unlike in the previous installments from this series. The beginning of the book was a bumpy read. Some scenes and dialogues look overly dragged out. In some places I've even got the impression that someone else was writing some parts of the book. The usage of words even reminded me of another author. Few descrepancies also appear. I.e. the description of Serge: first he is a tall and thin (skin and bones) man, and in the next few pages he's suddenly muscular with thick thighs 0_0 which is it? The description, appearance and first impression of Vasiliy and the surrounding setting was waaay too cliche and hackneyed, at least to my tastes. Almost at the level of "Russians-are-bear-like-people-who-constantly-live-in-snow-covered-cites-with-real-bears-walking-on-the-streets-drinking-vodka-and-playing-balalaika" >_<
What I really didn't understand at all was how Vasiliy Federov got to being called Vaska. In Russia the name Vaska, while being a pet/hypocoristic name of sorts is actually considered a vulgar variation. Something you wouldn't call any Vasiliy if you still want to be on his good side or you still want to be considered a well-mannered person or don't want to piss them off. Usually people call their cats Vaska, the type of bandit problem cats. And if somebody uses this form to openly call a Vasily Vaska they are bordering on treating them with indignity. Also mostly the part "-ka" is added to the name and used by moms and dads when they want to show their displeasure with bad behaviour to their YOUNG kids. And you can't really go using this form of the name while discussing or telling something important or sensual to somebody, at least not with a straight face. You may be lucky and get away with it if you're the person's close relative and they let you call them Vaska, Borka, Sashka, Volodka etc. Or because at the moment they deserve it. In rare cases it's ok if you are best friends ever and go drinking together, like when the point is only to have fun.
I know there are readers with Russian being their first language/mother language, and I think they will figuratively/literally laugh their heads off... Just as I did while reading this book.
I was intrigued immediately by this story because I knew it would involve three dominant men all trying to figure out a relationship. In all of the prior stories, the Tri-Omega is usually the one within the triad that brings calm and peace to his mates. I was giggling wondering how that was going to work here.
Nico has headed into the frozen tundra of Russia trying to track down a rumored pack of Tri-Omegas so his pack and family can get some more information. It comes as a huge, and not so welcome, shock to Nico when he meets Vasiliy, his mate. Vasiliy is thrilled to have found Nico even though this is a very dangerous time for him right now with the wolf hunters and the problems with the Eastern European Wolf Council. His fears are justified when Serge, a hunter, attacks Nico beating him severely and then sneaking onto Vasiliy's property and attacking him. However, Serge gets quite the shocker when he discovers he's a wolf, a Tri-Omega, and Vasiliy and Nico are his mates. Oh, there's a lot of yelling, fighting and drama occurring.
This was an exciting book because I got more information about Tri-Omegas and I was introduced to the world of the hunters which looks to play a part in future stories. There were very, very adorable children in this volume who were saved and given hope and family again. I can definitely recommend this book as being high on the excitement list!

Stormy Glenn... I've read worse, I've read better... pretty much the way it always is with this author! Can't complain because I choose to read them! *grin*
Moving on to see what happens next in this series! ;D
I probably would have rated this higher if not for several big issues I found in this story.
Some of these may be considered spoilery.
I'm sorry but this was a lot. I'm surprised I don't want to rate it lower, but I did still enjoy the basis of the story. I really wanted to know who Siro's mate was.
Although I've had some issues with this book in particular and a couple others in the series to a lesser extent, I am curious whether Ms. Glenn will be continuing the series considering there is a definite hanging ending (not a full cliffie because no one's life is immediately threatened) to which I am quite interested in having a resolution.
Wow, Stormy Glenn's outdone herself! I've always felt that Stormy Glenn books were like summer blockbusters, fun reading but not a lot of deep thought or complex plot. This book is a step beyond Stormy's usual.
There's much more plot in this book that involves tri-omegas and the universe she's built. Usually, her plots revolve around the romance, but in this book there's more than just the relationship. She does more to flesh out the tri-omega world and some of the political structures and alliances that any of the other books in the series. Not a lot more, but way more than usual for her.
This book is also longer than usual. Which is very welcome since she doesn't try to shoehorn all this plot and detail into her usual length book, but lets the book stretch out organically. I hate books where the author had great plot ideas but had to finish in 100 pages, so they squeeze in plot without detail or fleshing it out, making the book feel rushed and unsatisfying.
She wraps up the main plots in this book well but leaves enough minor plots open to fuel a few more books for this series. She introduces a couple new characters with enough detail that I want to know more about them, but not so much as to get me deeply invested and frustrated at their open story lines.
Oh, and the sex is hot. :-)
Honestly, I'm not sure Stormy's done herself any favors with this book. This book is a step above her usual stuff. If she's capable of writing these longer, more plot-heavy stories then she's raised my expectations for all her future work. She can obviously write more involved stories that range outside her comfort zone of the romantic relationship, so if she falls back into the simpler, easier romance-focused stories then it'll be a bit disappointing, knowing she could do more.
I really like reading this series. Nikolai Miroslav was sent to the frozen north of Russia to investigate a pack of Tri Omegas. Niko is not happy about this he doesn't want the responsibility of a mate. When Serge Dmitriev attacks the house, Niko finds himself with another mate, one who has no idea he's a wolf. The man doesn't even realize that during his attack on Nikolai and Vasiliy, they forged a mating bond between all three of them that will only end in death. Serge grew up thinking that wolves killed his family he never knew that he was one of them he knew that he had a twin that who he thought was dead, he was raised and trained to kill wolves. This was a really good book it was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. The book also had some really hot sex scenes with three hot males. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Apart from how everything is all so well achieved and easy this book was actually quite captivating. I didn't much care for either Vaska or Serge but I did like Niko a lot so I put up with them and I can't I wasn't rewarded afterwards. Don't get me wrong, I still don't much care for either of them but they did okay by Niko I guess. Most important however were the other wolves present here. I liked reading about Vadim and Sasha again. I liked meeting Siro. I even liked Ana and her brother. They were all very exciting to meet. And I liked the overall plot. I hope we get to know the endgame soon enough.

typical stormy glenn romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical stormy glenn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
laziness dictates i will use this as my template for all books by the following authors unless a book is remarkably good/bad : stormy glenn lynn hagen scarlet hyacinth joyee flynn carol lynne gabrielle evans
I liked it better than the latest of this series. Although there were a few unrealistic scenes, which if made into something more realistic, would have made it a better book. It kind of connects all books with a plot (main problem, mystery) while before the connection was just of the people involved. Because of how it ends, it asks for a sequel.

The frozen north meets its fiery match in Stormy Glenn's A Hunter's Desires. Just as the result of fire meeting ice, this book is steamy to the extreme. She takes this series to the next level in complexity, with many surprising twists and turns. Get ready for a fast paced, action packed and erotically charged experience.
The normal rules do not apply when it comes to the protagonists in this romantic tale. Nikolai, Vasiliy, and Serge are all decidedly aggressive males. The struggle for dominance causes sparks to fly and adds an almost humorous element to their troubles. Niko is the ultimate bachelor and is described as only needing a mate when he's too old to take care of himself. Vasiliy is a bear of a man whose alpha tendencies are well balanced with his desire to find and cherish his mate. He was my favorite character because he allows himself to become vulnerable to his mates in his effort to solidify their bond. Serge, the human hunter, is a complicated character. I applaud Ms. Glenn in her portrayal of his seemingly irreconcilable emotions. I found myself hating and admiring him in turn as he fights the demons from his past.
The sex scenes in this book are passionate, consuming and well written. I like the attention to detail Ms. Glenn puts into her writing as the lovers' emotions practically leap off the page. The dialogue between the three heartthrobs is especially poignant in it's eroticism.
A Hunter's Desires showcases Stormy's ability to create a beautiful mosaic of places and people. Her story line and characterizations are consistent over the course of this series and build nicely upon one another. I always enjoy being a part of the happily ever afters of Vadim, Sasha, and all of the Tri-Omegas from Vourdala Island.
This book is the sixth in the Tri-Omega series. While I recommend starting with Secret Desires, you'll be able to jump right in with this book. One of my favorite things about her writing is that no matter which book the reader starts with, important facts, key characters, and detailed events are reviewed briefly eliminating the need for sequential reading. It's not a cliff hanger, but the danger to the Tri-Omegas may be just beginning. The editing was the best yet of any of her books as typos and grammatical errors were minimal.
Whether you're a Tri-Omega groupie or are brand new to this series, I'm confident you'll love A Hunter's Desires. The drama and romance snared me with it's intensity, leaving me and other Stormy Glenn fans pleading for more. I'll end this shining review with my best loved quote from this book: “I just worry...I thought I'd die when you said you didn't want me. If I lost both of you...I think I'd beg the hunters to kill me.”
The first thing to come to mind is there are some oddly placed sex scenes in this book.
There were also a lot of innappropriately placed nonsex scenes.
Numerous eye roll opportunities to say the least but I guess that just comes with the territory doesn't it? That aside, the plot on this one seems more complex than previous stories in this series. It was also nice to see a tri-omega who doesn't fit the "chicks with dicks" stereotype plaguing previous triads. With many of the others I've had to keep shaking myself and saying "delete boobs" because they're acting so much like a chick that my brain is picturing them as one.
One thought that occured to me near the end, what became of Vaska's estate? What happened to his pack for that matter? I'd expect someone with such a flashy title to have quite a large pack somewhere. What became of the pack after he killed the alpha, his brother, isn't really addressed. Or maybe I just missed that part. Stranger things have happened.
The genre dictates certain elements of the story are predictable, so I'm not going to judge it based on those draw backs.
I quite like the characters and plot. Niko is an extrovert who gets along with everyone and doesn't want commitment. Vaska is a caregiver who's put into a position of kill or be killed. And Serge is a wolf hunter who hasn't felt any compassion in his life. Mix the three together along with a search for why so many Tri-Omegas are popping up in one generation and what the hunters are scheming against the wolves, and you get a balanced erotic romance with a reasonably intriguing plot, one with some nice revelations near the end.
If I had to complain about something, I'd say Vaska loses his flavor after the first few scenes. His initial impression, that of a heavy accented Russian bear, is very strong, and is completely lost once the conflict is set up. So if you're expecting your Russian gay bear fantasies to come true, it'll only be for one, very titillating, sex scene and that's it.
Three big beautiful men are about to sweep you away in a frenzy of sexual exploration. The common goal between Niko and Vaska bonds them immediately, but you really get a feel for their personalities when Serge is added to the mix. Serge’s character is completely shattered when his life changes in a matter of minutes, but Niko and Vaska never condemn him. This story has great energy, awesome sex, and some really gorgeous guys to get you all worked up.
Reading this was a pleasure. You got to see one mate struggle with what he thought he want to what he really wanted down deep inside, and you got to see another mate come to terms with who he really is. Vaska basically helped them all threw it, and the good thing was there was all the tears being shed. The other books were mushy like that, but this one would have been way off to through any of these hardstrong men if tearing up every five minutes. It was a good change for the series. I look forward to the other Ms. Glenn has in store for us.
It's was as if the writer wanted to proved she can wrote a story with plot. The problem's it's that it's going in too much direction without giving a real sense of continuity. It's not bad, a lot of thing are interesting, it's just too much for one book.
The good point? I'm sure that it's not the last book of the series. I want the next one to be with Siro or this Connor of book 5.
Best book of the series so far! Fantastic! Great story-line. Lots of intrigue. A big plot twist (Siro) and I can't wait to see what the reason is for all the Tri-Omegas being born. There is a hint of a possible war. And will this series tie into the other one (Wolf Creek Pack) where there is also a hint of a possible war.

I enjoyed this read. This is a typical Stormy Glenn book. I really enjoyed Serge. I did think he didn't struggle with his change in circumstances as much as he should have but I loved the overall relationship of the three men together.
Enjoyed watching Niko - who from previous books made it clear he wasn't ready to settle down - find not one but two mates. This book was a nice length, however, I still wasn't ready to be done with the characters at the end of the story. I suspect that's a reaction that authors enjoy. :)
Great great great loved it the story was great just as great as the first five and I can't wait to read the next book I purchased it and will be reading it...
