Collecting the third volume in the DEAD@17 Trilogy, Revolution is the conclusion to the story that began in Dead@17: The First Series and continued in Blood of Saints. The fates of Nara, Hazy, and Bolabogg collide when a mysterious group called Heavens Militia uncovers a terrifying consipiracy. This is the ending that will be talked about for years to come.
Revolution shows a lot of improvement from the earlier stories. The revolution are now trying to expose the man running for President as the demon that he is, but of course they run into some trouble and there's a big twist. The ending is somewhat of a shock.
Josh Howards artwork is as enthralling as ever in this this volume. His style is like between anime and something else, I just don't know what the something else is.
I'm not sure where Josh Howard went wrong. Every other page of this story is either an info dump or lame plot twist. While I didn't mind the religious overtones in the previous stories, you just get nailed over the head with it here. It comes off like Howard stuck a lame Omen sequel in a blender with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
