I just got through re-reading the Calorie King. It is a great self help and reference book. I used this book in a Veterans Administration weight loss class called the MOVE Program. It was a big help. I lost 37 pounds in 4 months. I was the biggest looser in my class of about 50 veterans. If you go to www.va.gov and type my last name, (Hether) in the search bar you can read the whole story. This book teaches you how to eat properly and loose weight. When you learn the weight loss rules you can loose weight easily. If you are trying to loose weight this book will help you.

This book is extremely helpful for people that try to make healthy choices. Alcoholic beverages and fast food items are listed in the book which is relatively small and easy to carry. Even if you just pick it up to skim at Borders (or wherever) you may just find yourself disgusted the next time you want to order Chicken Selects at McDonald's (5 pc, 635 cal...without sauce). Sick.

This book is awesome! It really opened up my eyes about how bad certain foods were for me. I've lost 20 lbs (so far) by changing my diet and using this book as a reference to choose the foods I eat. Thank you Calorie King!

More than just a calorie reference book. I bought this for my Dad to learn more about diabetes.
