Beginner

I am a beginner. I will be keeping this book in my library at work so I can re-read it and use it as a reference. I appreciate that all five books are in one place. I work for a non-profit organization and the agency doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on a database. Right now, we have IT people that come in and help. It will be nice to be able to set up a database myself. As the agency grows, our database needs to grow.

I confess that I knew absolutely nothing about Python Programming or SQL when I first got my hands on this book. However, I did possess some knowledge of databases and their systems, having previously taken the CompTIA Security+ exam a few years ago. Being familiar with databases is only a small part of keeping networks and systems secure.

An interest in programming and SQL has grown among my children, and my ex-husband even has a passing familiarity with the language. I figured I might as well pick up some knowledge as well.

Whoever finds SQL to be an arduous subject to master will find this book refreshing. This book breaks down complex ideas into smaller, more manageable chunks making the material easier to absorb. Databases are defined and introduced along with their purposes, functions, and types. Fundamentals of programming are explored. And the author goes into greater depth on how to practically apply the knowledge essential for database management, data mining, and other related topics. The beauty is that it is five books in one, so the work is extremely comprehensive.

Although it might take some time to read it cover to cover, this book will give you a solid grounding. If you are just starting and consider SQL or Python Programming to be pertinent to a professional path, I highly recommend this resource.

If you are just looking to get your feet wet learning something ne, it is a great place to start and deserves your full attention. As for me, I thought it was illuminating.

In the book Python Programming and SQL, specialist Mark Reed teaches us the use of SQL (Structured Query Language) to manage databases that are increasingly important not only for companies but also for governments . Although there are several query languages that differ in data based on function, what characterizes SQL is that it presents data in columns and rows similar to Excel. During the development of the first part of the work, the author explains each part of the SQL step by step, for example in the case of understanding how the query flow is generated, starting from a simple example of a Product Table.
Finally, the use of Python is explained, which is a programming language that provides an advanced platform for programming. Reed makes it easy to understand step by step, allowing both a layman and a specialist to easily learn and implement SQL and Python. Work intended for those who want to engage in data management using programming languages.

Perfect tool

This book has been my best acquisition in a long time. I have some friends who learned to program and now lead quite a pleasant life, managing their time and not working long hours while earning a very good salary. This is a manual where you can find the basic fundamentals of programming step by step. If you're curious about this topic, you'll be thrilled, but if you also want to use it as a gateway into the programming job market, you're in the right place. The tools it provides, the step-by-step instructions, the examples, and more are very useful.

I must thank the author.

Explains how to manage databases

The world of programming is so diverse and sometimes it’s hard to keep up. I’ve learned the software side of programming, but I’ve always been curious about how to manage databases. SQL is the particular programming language that’s focused on managing and manipulating databases. If you understand what a database is, this book is the perfect tool to help you manage them and make changes in them. There’s a lot of information about python equations, how to process files, how to process graphics and images, and a lot more. Definitely helped explain the world of python to me.

This book is an extremely complete course on Python and computer programming, the course is divided into 5 books through which you will learn the basics and the advanced ones.
The book makes it easy to understand all these concepts and proposes the exercise of the theory, that is, initially proposes the theoretical part where you will understand the basics and then gives you practical exercises in which you can incorporate the learning to reality.
A very useful book for all those people who want to acquire these new skills. I recommend it.

Good but technical

Good read, hard on a tablet without accompanying database to try out the language it seems more theoretical. I am looking forward to using this book as a handy reference
