What a fantastic book! I didn’t read this book as a daily devotional as it’s intended. I took time going through it, taking notes referencing scripture. The authors did a great job, walking through the book of Joshua and aligning it to the period of time that we are in now. There was a comment in the middle of the book that I so strongly related to. “Joshua basically took a youth group into the promised land to fight Giants. God kept telling them to be strong and courageous. All they had was God and HIS strength.” When I think about the obstacles in life, we too often face enemies and “walled cities” that seem impossible to conquer. we must trust God, have faith and courage. Ultimately, as Joshua obeyed the Lord, with what seemed like an odd command, God delivered a miracle!

Another great daily devotional from Brian and Candice Simmons
In this next installment of their forty day daily devotionals, Brian and Candice Simmons again show great insights and inspiration as they lead the reader on a journey of faith building devotionals this time considering the Joshua Generation and the conquest of the Promised Land. Readers new to this series may be taken aback by the length of these daily devotionals compared to the many. 30-second or one minute devotionals available; yes, these are a little longer, but certainly they are doable even on a busy schedule and absolutely worth it as you learn from Scripture while being genuinely inspired!!
This book, and the entire series is most highly recommended!!!!

Exceptionally impactful!
I absolutely devoured this book with a rekindled passionate faith and love for Jesus. Wow. The timing of this was something only God could pull off! I know I will look back on this study as a significant milestone in my faith journey.
