The Congregation: A Journey Into Spiritual-Tech Punknology

Rate this book
As the world begins taking its last breath, Professor Dorian Thomas teaches history to over-privileged students at a New York college. A borderline alcoholic, Thomas plods through his existence until the day he receives a strange note that "Must meet with you tonight after classes. Will meet you in front of the old library steps." The mysterious and dangerous meeting is with Father Michael Donavan who asks Thomas to join their mission-the search for pieces of a missing holy text that has the ability to change life's destiny and save mankind. Thomas is skeptical. In this new world, organized religion is taboo and, in some cases, illegal. But when Thomas discovers that Teresa Elizabeth Donavan is part of the group, he doesn't hesitate. Thomas has been waiting ten long years for Elizabeth, his life's love, to return to him. The diverse group-a team of God's chosen army-seriously attends to its task and embarks on a dangerous international journey to recover the texts and restore life to what it once was.

Through my spiritual connection with God I penned my latest novel, The Congregation, based on the book of Revelation from the Bible and a mythical story line I once heard told by the original priest whose story was the basis for The Exorcist that I heard on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell.
I am also working on my third novel, The Coalfields, inspired by the true life events surrounding The Mad Butcher case where I will name the actual name of the real killer for the first time anywhere to this original cold case which will be available later this year.

I was a Pro-Wrestler for 18 years. I wrestled for the WWE, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, Ohio Valley Wrestling, United States Wrestling Association, World Wrestling Council, and I am the owner of Apex Wrestling and Entertainment, a wrestling territory in West Virginia. I held 24 fighting championships across my career including 2 time former American Wrestling Association World Championship which I never lost. Since retiring I have written an autobiography, Worker: Last of a Dying Breed highlighting the many wrestling territories that I competed in as well as the personal struggles and political problems that comes from being a Fayette County, West Virginia native.

I have written and directed over 300 television episodes and live events in Pro-Wrestling, I enjoy the film making process, and the aspects of the film making industry. More information about me can be found at my website www.logansworldonline.com.

THE CONGREGATION
NEW NOVEL BY BRIAN LOGAN
AS THE WORLD BEGINS TAKING ITS LAST BREATH,
Professor Dorian Thomas teaches history to over-privileged students at a New York college. A borderline alcoholic, Thomas plods through his existence until the day he receives a strange note that reads: “Must meet with you tonight after classes. Will meet you in front of the library steps."

The mysterious and dangerous meeting is with Father Michael Donavan who asks Thomas to join their mission-the search for pieces of a missing holy text that has the ability to change life’s destiny and save mankind. Thomas is skeptical. In this new world, organized religion is taboo and, in some cases, illegal.

But when Thomas discovers that Teresa Elizabeth Donavan is part of the group, he doesn’t hesitate. Thomas has been waiting ten long years for Elizabeth, his life’s love, to return to him. The diverse group-a team of God’s chosen army-seriously attends to its task and embarks on a dangerous international journey to recover the texts and restore life to what once was.

It is a futuristic prophetic view where machines rule and man's movement is limited by the government of the world. It has all the description of a Dystopian definition spiced with erotic romance, adventure, religion, and the whole nine yards! Inspired by the book of Revelations from the Bible it has action comparative to any sci-fi fantasy along with heart touching characters easy to identify with.

Cheapest price is at www.logansworldonline.com but it is also available on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, as well as other book sites.

Um...will people please quit recommending books to me that at least read like they were NaNo creations that got minimal editing?? I couldn't even give this one my usual three-chapters' chance it was so grating to attempt to read. Sorry.
