Un passé de plus en plus lourd à porter...

C'est l'hiver à Stockholm. Suzan y séjourne avec son père adoptif, ambassadeur itinérant en mission de remplacement de quelques semaines dans la capitale suédoise. Suzan y trouve le temps long ; mise à part la toute prochaine cérémonie des Nobel, les distractions y sont inexistantes et les nuits interminables.
Mais très vite, de vieilles connaissances viennent se rappeler à son (mauvais) souvenir. Orion d'abord, représentant d'une mystérieuse agence de lutte contre le terrorisme. Anton Grivenko ensuite, celui-là même qui avait été son compagnon de larcins dans un passé encore brûlant. Orion "impose" aux deux jeunes gens une mission qui consiste à dérober dans la chambre d'un richissime pakistanais des documents qui permettraient de le compromettre. L'opération est menée à bien - non sans mal - et s'avère pour le moins fructueuse : les documents mettent à jour un plan totalement ahurissant d'enlèvement des prix Nobel !...

Plot looks like something out of James Bond movie, Pierce Brosnan period comes to mind for some reason, only it's not Bond, but Lady S. And that cheesy love story... Got to love these comics. However, my main problem is drawing. It feels I'm reading XIII all over again or any other comic book that I grew up with in the late '90s. Ayman even makes everything look late '70s or '80s, even though it's happening in early 2000's. But maybe that was the publisher's idea, to wake nostalgic feelings for fans of XIII whom Lady S is a female counterpart, sort of.

Really enjoyable graphic novel series. This is book two. Modesty Blaise - type thriller
