It was a moment unique in American collegiate history - never before or since has a college student body been called into pitched battle and led a victorious charge against the enemy. The price was 57 cadets were wounded, ten died. All were changed. All had pursued the same academic course, yet it would be difficult to find more varied careers - many reached the very top of life's ladder. This volume includes a concise description of the Battle of New Market, including pertinent incidents surrounding the campaingn. Originally published in a very limited edition in 1933, this rare volume has been updated
