The Psychic Twins have amazed audiences all over the world with their eerie predictions that have proven to be true, including the events of 9/11, the Times Square Terrorist incident, natural disasters and more. They've also worked with countless clients who report that their predictions later came to be true. Although the Twins have an undeniable gift in this area, we all have psychic capabilities-- and in this book they show you how to strengthen your own, look into your future, and change your destiny.
In PSYCHIC INTELLIGENCE, Terry and Linda Jamison explain, step-by-step, how to dissolve the blocks that can prevent you from using and trusting your own intuition. By exploring what they call the Four Clairs: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognizance, you will be able to tap into these feelings and in turn:
--Create strong and worthwhile relationships, including finding true love --Attract wealth and abundance -Know when to make a career change, and what the new path should be --Experience vibrant health --Discover your authentic self and life's purpose
Now, at a time of real economic and social uncertainty, when hope is needed and so many are feeling confused and fearful, PSYCHIC INTELLIGENCE will show readers that we all have the power to tap into and control our own destiny.
Great read! The book is filled with plenty of practical, as well as useful tips that are easy to incorporate into a daily practice. I loved how the authors were able to write as one voice, yet distinguish between one or the other's personal experiences.
This book is definitely not woo-woo or airy-fairy. I think the authors do a great job of explaining their extraordinary gifts without all the extra fluff or overuse of metaphysical terminology. So anyone who is new to psychic phenomenon will find the authors’ down-to-earth, compassionate approach very refreshing. It’s like having a discussion with two of your best friends who aren't afraid to give it to you straight because they only have your best interest at heart. Plus, they include plenty of fun quizzes, questionnaires, and step-by-step instructions, designed to assist the reader in discovering their own intuitive gifts. I especially loved their guides for meditating and automatic writing—very thorough.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who has an interest in learning or understanding more about psychics, channeling, and mediumship.
As a person who has read everything their is on the subject I can honestly say I really enjoyed this book. They didn't say much that I didn't already know, but for the first time it registered with my Soul. The chapter on protecting oneself from Psychic Vampires was very informative. There were questions I needed answers to, and as if a higher power was at play those questions were answered. I have never heard the word Claircognizant, and as a read the chapter I soon found out the name for what I have been experiencing my whole life. It was also the first time someone has mentioned "a ball of light" because this was exactly what my daughter saw as a child. Thank you Jamison Twins for your help!
While it was a somewhat interesting book with stories of their psychic experiences it was seriously lacking in substance when it came to instruction on developing one's own abilities. If you are looking for anecdotal stories of people's psychic experiences and a description of each psychic ability--then you'll enjoy this book. If you are searching for a book that outlines--in details (not just tips here and there) on how to develop your own psychic abilities this is not the book for you. Don't be fooled by the title. In addition, You may be able to find it at your local library--that is where i borrowed mine from.
Prior to writing this review, I sent out book recommendations to 15 of my friends interested in spiritual and psychic development and some more to those who seem to read only fiction and specialized literature. Indeed, with years passing by I notice that more and more people who have nothing to do with any "mystic" studies are actively interested in developing their intuition, insight and better understanding of self and others. And it is a universal wave: when Terry and Linda's book was just out in the USA market, I already found it on the shelves of the biggest bookstore in Moscow, nicely translated into (of course!) Russian language and with the "Bestseller of the Week" sign proudly glued to the bookshelf's edge just under the pile of "Psychic Intelligence".
I found this book to be both useful and entertaining. It contains many stories from a difficult yet enlightening journey the twin sisters have had in this lifetime: they learned the hard way that listening to self and following one's path is perhaps THE priority and THE task of our life. You can have it easier thanks to them putting it all in writing and adding numerous exercises! I really wanted to get as much out of the book as I could and it involved several hours invested into discovery of many aspects of my own psychic abilities, the "how it all began" and "where to go with all of it next". For me, as a Tarot reader, it was quite a precious time of insights. I have not even finished all the exercises when already started receiving benefits of being more conscious of my power. And you have that power, too: it is exactly what the book is about: each one of us, human beings, has a unique power to see beyond what's obvious and to know thyself.
From scientific discoveries to ancient tips on clearing your aura, from guidance on opening and "fine-tuning" your third eye to many meditations tailored for achieving either better understanding or providing a training for one or the other part of your psyche: "Psychic Intelligence" is one of the most intelligent and nicely rounded books on the market.
Here's a little "Psychic Intelligence" snack for you:
"The brain, as we’ve said, thrives on diversity and novelty. So doing something that is visually new and different will help to open pathways that stimulate clairvoyance." "Analyzing is a bit like worrying—it doesn’t always lead to the best result, and it tends to block intuition. Instead of coming through as a vision or a voice, claircognizant messages are more like thoughts that suddenly pop into your head. Unlike your normal, everyday thoughts, they seem to come out of the blue and usually having no relation to whatever you may be consciously thinking about at the time." "You can even ask you spirit guide to help you become more open to your intuition so you are more receptive to the information you receive."
Automatic writing, pendulums, herbs, guides, Angels, communicating with the other side, starting your own practice, "reading" people, energy work and protection, healing your memories to aid you be a better psychic and etc.: if you take just one book on psychic and spiritual development, I recommend this one.
The Psychic Twins, Terri andLinda Jamison have predicted all sorts of events and this book shows you how to access your own abilities. They say everyone has them. They say you can do it too.
There are a lot of places where you should stop and do the experiments and see how it all works for yourself and I know that I should go back and reread sections in order to familiar myself with the process. They give a lot of good tips and if you are interested in growing your psychic abilities you can’t go wrong by getting tips straight from those who are in the know.
Definitely check this one out if you are big on spirituality and want to grow your own intuition.
This book took me a long time to read because I bought it from the Mac ebook store and I barely use my book app on my iPod Touch anymore. I know, bad me.
Can I leave a review even if I enjoyed this so little I couldn't get through it? So disappointing. They go on and on about how they're going to teach you how to hone your own psychic abilities, but it doesn't happen, and I got sick of reading, "We're going to teach you bla bla bla," but then never actually learning anything. If you want a casual read about these gifted people, you might love this. If you want clear direction on how to improve your own abilities, keep looking. This one drags on way too long.
Enjoyed this book and helped me understand better about psychic abilities. It's worth reading. Makes me feel like I really do have angels or spirit guides around me(:
Having just completed Curtis Sittenfeld's SISTERLAND, to which the book is loosely based on the "real" psychic twins, Terry and Linda Jamison, I had to check out this how-to style book on tapping into one's own creative and intuitive powers.
Don't be fooled by the slim design of PYSCHIC INTELLIGENCE--This book packs a punch! In the first few pages, authors Terry and Linda caution readers to read in small chunks and to read slowly. Being a bibliophile, I disregarded this, uh...warning and plowed right ahead. I found the details and tips utterly fascinating. But since the material was mostly new to me (I've never really thought much about my own psychic powers), I feel I need to refer to the book again. So, yes...their disclosure is right on. Read the book slowly, take time to digest--and practice--the steps outlined.
As a writer, I found the authors' suggestion on "automatic writing" intriguing. I'll definitely have to try that!
The book also dicusses which "clair" you are--that is, are you a seeing, hearing, knowing, or sensing person? Short--but accurate quizzes included to help you tune into your personal inclination. Once I got reading, I determined that I have a little bit of all clairs, but mostly clear-seeing (clairvoyance).
If you're curious, this is a great starter book on psychic intuition. In fact, it's so jam-packed with information, it may be the only resource you'll need.
Unlike other books on the subject, the Twins begin by informing you that they have not added any fluff to their writing of this book. It is straight on the subject and filled with knowledgeable ideas on how you can develop your intuition.
I just started reading this book last night, reading up to the New Year ball drop which put me half way through. I can tell you that after this review I'll be heading right back into it once again. It's best to read this book until you feel your not absorbing it as quickly as you did in the beginning and then stop, go to sleep and allow your mind to review what you read. There is a lot of information contained in every page that takes time for you to assimilate. Each and every one of us have been told what we hold in our memories as a belief, it's time to rework our memories and replace or strengthen them. I really enjoyed their description of how we can go into our memories and repaint the room, clean out the drawers and remove the clutter that makes us feel bogged down and sluggish.
Mercifully short and easy to skim over. This was terrible. I could write this book in my sleep. There is absolutely nothing new: it's all the recycled tripe that goes into most of this genre. I would really love to know how I grew out of my 'prophetic' dreams, but this just gives the usual 'oh you must have just started to doubt yourself, or got teased about it' when, nope, that didn't happen. I quite liked my gift. All the usual awful about removing 'toxins' from your diet, using affirmations, or putting a rock on your forehead lies within these pages, and absolutely all of it is a lie. Spent plenty of time believing all this (long before I read this book) and trying my best and never achieved anything or connected to any other 'planes of existence'. It's out there - I know it is - this just is not the way to do it.
This is interesting if you want to read about psychic abilities. I enjoyed it, however, it's not the best thing ever. Written by "the psychic twins", and frankly, written from the point of view that I was supposed to know who the psychic twins ARE. Nope, no idea who these people are, but anyway, they give tips to encourage the reader to develop his psychic abilities. I am open to receiving messages from my guardian angels and any and all kind and loving spirits and gods. I must say, after reading this book, that honestly, I have not received any recent messages from beyond. They may be leaving me a message now! Let me go check my machine!
3.5 stars is all I can give this book, for now. I checked this out of the library but really want my own copy to read again at a leisurely pace. There are a lot of journaling exercises, quizzes, and detailed information that will be lost on me without owning it. Once I read through this again and dive into the activities I will be able to give this a solid rating.
I can't deny that some sections seemed to be common sense, but at least half of this book was a very comprehensive understanding of psychic intelligence. You probably need to be a believer going in to really respect and enjoy this though.
I believe this is the first psychic self help book I've ever actually read every single bit of, I tend to like the ones that share stories more. It's all pretty basic information for those naturally inclined to listen to their intuition, but there was a few tips in here that really jumped out at me. It's a pretty good book even if like me you're not planning on becoming psychic, but you're just curious. There's some really good suggestions in here that anyone can apply to their life for a more peaceful, and calm existence.
This was a book that I really needed in my life this past year I have felt like I was disconnected from myself and circling the drain. This book really helped me better understand myself and what I need to do to regain my power and reinvent myself into the person I want and need to be. This was a really great book that was informative, charming, and really easy to read I loved it and feel like it will continue to help me in the future !
It is an interesting book if you are into meditating, using your inner strength and dealing with people's energies. It does cover the whole "psychic" aspect, but they do it in such a way that is both easy and reachable. With none of the whole "fortune teller" insight that we have come to associate with the term "psychic".
It is more a book about working and training your intuition. Which has nothing to do with anything paranormal/supernatural. It did get a little off towards the end, but as a whole was very good
It took me a while to get into the book initially which is why I went so long between reads. I actually ended up gaining interest around the third chapter and sped through it in a few weeks. Great book for beginning and intermediate individuals interested in increasing their psychic and spiritual progress. Great direction from gifted psychics.
This book was a super fun read. I'm open to most things, and when the Psychic Sisters talked about the different types of psychic abilities, it sounded a lot to me like trusting your gut and paying attention to your dreams. All things I'm wholeheartedly on board for.
