This book includes translation into Russian of two late esoteric Jewish apocryphal works. The first, the Book of Jubilees is translated from German, the second one from Greek. These translations were made by the Russian Orthodox theologian and Biblical scholar Aleksandr Smirnov (b. 1857). The works were first published in 1895 and 1896.
