This was an expensive book, so I was hoping for a lot! But I'm a bit disappointed. It's an excellent survey of the issues, yes. Very thorough. But I was looking for more of a description of divine-human relationality, more a relational metaphysics, some answers. Didn't get that. There are long portions where Torrance reviews competing views and ends which, "Well, those are the options. Good luck." What?
