A light and easy read about two teenage boys on a search for the truth about what happened to a grandfather that died in a mysterious bear attack 30 years prior. The tale takes the reader on a journey of summer adventures as the two boys encounter a new friendship and discover what really happened on that ridge. The book uses southern jargon and language to bring a level of rural authenticity to the reader. Multiple perspectives and surprising character point of views are brought in that make a fun take on an age old legend.
