Myanmar, known as Burma until 1989, has been under tremendous political pressure. It's economy is fragile. It faces the need for economic growth and new pathways to sustain achievements. This book offers ways to develop Myanmar toward a knowledge based economy. The Central Economic Zone presented here is the potential project exclusively conceived for Myanmar because of its unique geographical position between China and India. There is enormous opportunity. The author was born in Myanmar and eventually made his way to the United States as a State Scholar. He holds a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from New York University. He was a professor of mathematics at Manhattan College and served as president of US-Asia/Pacific Technology/Business Group. He was also a partner in e-Development International.
