This odd, little quirky book filled with strange pictures and random poems was interesting and kept my attention even though I sometimes felt as if I were reading random verses of “Jabborwocky.” I was surprised to find I sometimes identified with some of the verses even when I wasn’t sure of the literal meaning, but rather felt my way along them with empathy and intuition. Reading this book is like entering a dreamscape. Sometimes you awaken with full awareness of your dreams, and other times you can’t seem to find any words to express them. Instead, only wisps of feelings like strands of fog drift through your mind as you feel your way to an ethereal understanding.
When will I learn? Note to self: If you can't find a book anywhere, don't search for it, wait ages, and then spend a single penny on it from ThriftBooks. I love the Pondering Pool cards by Susan Mrosek. They were funny and compelling. This book was not.
