Contrary to my belief and bookshelf organization, this book is not by Eric Carle.

I was very captivated by these pictures. The ladybugs were by far the best to look at.
But hang on, what's the point of the hole that goes through the whole book?

My Mama really liked this book because, thanks to the coil binding, she could read the word pages while I looked at the picture pages. Thank you to the publishers for being so thoughtful.

The story, centered around counting, is very clever and enjoyable. Counting with Mama is fun!

Plus Mama was very pleased that the rhyming scheme is correct. She's often told me, when she's reading me other books, that sometimes kids books writers don't write correct rhyming schemes. Since the syllables don't match, they read poorly, especially out loud (count your syllables, people!). One Green Frog does not suffer from this, and for that, Mama and I are very thankful.

We look forward to reading this one again.

Another book I had never heard of, but enjoyed very much! I liked the one lot because it included a lot for children to learn from. The other includes numbers/counting, different animals, and rhyming! I believe children are drawn to colors and this book is full of colors. This is a fun, colorful, exciting book that children could really learn from!

Fun, tactile book for learning numbers. S liked this, although he didn't discover it until he was 5 and getting past the simple counting stage. L has only read it a couple of times. I'll have to see how F feels about it when she reaches counting age.

I used to read this book with my family when I was little, so I was thrilled to read it to my kids!

This book makes you want to poke it. Poke it real good. Ha! Just kidding. It does have a hole and for some reason you just can't stop the urge to poke it. Poke, poke, poke....not only me but my son likes to poke his little finger in the hole too. Something about this counting book just makes you smile. This silly little book is a must have for any little one.

A fun book to read. A little long to get through all the pages. Gabriella often wants to turn the page before we get through all the words. She isn't into the texture as much as I thought she would be, but that doesn't stop us from reading this one on almost a daily basis.

Üç buçuk yıldız. Delikli kitaplar serisinden. İllüstrasyonlarını pek beğenmesem de çocuklar ilgileniyor. Deliklerle parmak etkileşimi ile sayıları öğretiyor. Bizim çocuklar kitabı çok hırpalamasına rağmen hala bütünlüğünü koruyor. Bu önemli bir artı :)

Another favorite when my daughter was a toddler. A counting book for little fingers to explore.

This was one of the favorites for both of my boys. They loved sticking their finger on/in the eyes and holes.
