Although I am not a vegetarian I found this cookbook to have some very good recipes in it. The author starts with an introduction about cooking. She says cooking for yourself can earn you some respect and your family will appreciate it. Many families do not know how to cook for their vegan teenager. If their teenager learns to cook their own meals then the family gains some knowledge also. This cookbook includes recipes for salads, side dishes, snacks, main dishes, dips, breakfast, deserts, and other sweets. It is a great book for vegan's and includes easy and delicious recipes for teen's.

Family friendly even for parents who want to retrain their skills or find recipies for family's that are Vegetarian. This is a good book as well for teenagers and young adults who just need ideas of what to do when they leave home.

I will not claim that this is the best thing on Earth, but it's pretty good. A very stereotypical problem with the book is that it assumes you are the only vegetarian in your family, which isn't my case at all. It's not really an issue, though; just something to point out.

It's easy to navigate, and it usually has an "insanely easy" marker for the most obvious recipes. The different tips of fellow teens suggest a more interesting tone. I'd definitely recommend this book for vegetarians like me!

I bought this book for the daughter of a friend. The daughter was wanting to go vegetarian and my friend was worried about what to cook and how her daughter would get all her nutrition. This book is a good, all-around commonsense compilation featuring comments and recipes by teens.

The recipes are simple and use mostly easily-found ingredients. I liked it so well that I, who was not vegetarian, bought a copy for myself. I've since bought another copy or two to give as gifts.

Whether you're a vegetarian, a mostly vegetarian, know someone who is or is flirting with being a vegetarian, cook for vegetarians or just want some interesting ways to present vegetables, this is a terrific little book!

This cookbook is great for anyone who is trying to eat healthier, go vegetarian, or is in a hurry. While it is geared towards teens who are becoming vegetarians, the recipes are delicious and tasty for anyone who needs a good meal without too much effort. Throughout the book, it also provides vegan alternatives to many ingredients. Some favorites are the chickpea salad and the Aztec casserole. Eat up!

When I started thinking about vegetarianism, this is the book that I picked up. It actually helped a lot, showing me that there were other people like me out there (very important when you're growing up in the middle of Alaska). The recipes are pretty basic, but I found the book to be a good starting point.

I love this book, even though I'm not a teen anymore. FYI, I'm pretty sure all the recipes are vegan. It's a great book for any teen or adult looking for quick, easy, affordable recipes that don't use a lot of obscure ingredients. It's especially good for any vegetarians or vegans who are just learning to cook.

Really loved this book. As a new vegetarian, this book is a great tool. The recipes are super easy and sound tasty. The ingredients are easily interchangeable so you don't have to suffer through eating weird unpronounceable ingredients.

I have tried several recipes from this book and they have all been good. Originally I got this from the library, but I liked it so much I decided to get my own copy.
