While I really enjoyed how real all of the stories were, I couldn’t help but feel like the author had a savior complex. The book also had many minor spelling/grammar issues that needed correcting before publication. I think this book is a useful read for anyone who is interested in adult education within the prison systems though, as it does touch on everything you could wonder about.
