Sondra Ray is one interesting author, I’ve read about 4 of her books and feel I can say this- she needed a better editor. ‘The Loving Relationships Treasury’ is all over the place- I’m gonna say I really enjoyed about half the book- but there is so much going on all the time it’s almost exhausting to keep up with it.

Sondra’s book ‘I Deserve Love’ is much better- and a book that helped me out tremendously back in my early days of developing a spiritual practice.

Remember to take a shot every time she mentions ’rebirthing’! 🙄

Short and easy to read but more importantly it hits at the very heart of the issue--that if we don't have a loving relationship with ourselves we will never have one with someone else. Essentially derived from the premise that one cannot change others only themselves. We must be the change we want to see to put into Gandhi's words. To manifest the kind of partner we would like to have we must express those qualities ourselves first.
